How to make the princess cake instructions (some may say this is similar to a Bratz or Barbie birthday cake) Assembling the princess birthday cake: 1. Bake three cakes in 8-inch round cake pans and one cake in a medium ovenproof glass bowl. Let cakes cool. 2. Cut off the dome off all of the 8-inch round cakes with a serrated knife. (Freezing the cake for about 45 minutes before you cut them will reduce the crumbs). 3. Cut a small hole in the middle of each layer; this is where the princes doll will go. 4. To keep your decorating surface clean while you frost, slide pieces of parchment paper underneath the bottom layer. 5. Using your offset spatula, place a dollop of frosting on one of the layers of cake, and spread it evenly. Place another layer on top, frost it, and place the last layer on top. Frost the top of the last 8-inch round cake and top with the cake baked in the overproof glass bowl (domed side up). 6. Make a crumb coat. This is a thin layer of frosting that seals in the crumbs and keeps the frosting clean and neat. Spread the frosting over the entire surface of the cake. To make the frosting smooth, take a strip of paper, cup it and place it at the bottom of the cake, sliding it evenly to the top of the cake. 7. This makeup tutorial explains you how to imitate the look of a bjd short for ball jointed doll, dollfie doll, or asian doll as they are sometimes called. An Inspiration to create this makeup was a doll itself, that some nice people at Hyper Japan gave me to pose for a photo. Tadaaaaa! Now, Let's Start! Use moisturiser to create a base that makes your skin look smooth like porcelain. Press the moisturiser with lifting strokes into your skin. Be gentle with your skin, the facial skin is the most sensitive, so make sure your hands and face are clean so you don't transfer bacteria into your pores and avoid breakouts. When the cream is absorbed, apply a second layer. Wait until the second one is absorbed by your skin too, and apply the third and last layer. Applying more than one layer of moisturiser is more effective. This part is optional, but listen: Before we start applying any makeup, insert circle lenses. It's wrong inserting them after the makeup is done, as you risk that powder could come in touch with your lens, and you'd end up with a bad eye infection. Or, of course, your eye makeup and mascara would risk getting messed up. Use a pink or peach toned concealer, 1 shade lighter than your natural skin tone to create an even, and flawless base shade. Usually this look is glamorous, elegant and feminine but I wanted to give it a younger, fun and sweeter twist by the influence of dolls. Almost Ulzzang/Anime inspired. The main focus are upon the eyelashes. I will show you how I apply UPPER and LOWER false lashes the more natural method (and if you are noob like me). Remember you do not have the use the products that I use. I trust you guys to be able to find duplicates (or better) with your own experience =) Its not always about the product. Its about your own ability ^_^. My philosophy of makeup is Simple, Clean yet Effective. The eyelashes I used are purchased in a pack of 10 in HK. You can check out Ebay. Remember, I reccommend NON-Rimmed eyelashes. Especially for lower lashes. As for upper lashes, I reccommend ones that Criss Cross.
