My top 10 Sega Dreamcast games
Note: These are my own personal top 10 Dreamcast games. My Dreamcast collection is still work in progress, and these are the 10 games I've gotten the most enjoyment out of over the years. If you want to be an ***hole in the comments section because I didn't mention a game that would be in your top 10, then your comment will be deleted,and you will be blocked. Don't attack me because my opinion doesn't align with yours. That's just ignorance. The Dreamcast is an awesome system, and has tons of awesome games that are all worthy of a mention, but once again, these are my own personal top 10 DC games. Just because I don't have some other great DC games in the list doesn't mean I don't like them, it just means that I've enjoyed these 10 more.

Sadly, 2 years later support had dwindled and popular support was pulled. How is it that one of the greatest video game systems in history could suffer such a short lifespan? Well, collecting a Sega Dreamcast and a library of awesome games has never been easier or more affordable. Filmed on the 10 year anniversary of the North American release of the Dreamcast, CGR takes a look at the awesome white box with the orange swirl. Fans of arcade titles, shooters and Sega classics should definitely consider a Dreamcast as a contender for their next game system. DreamTrooper.....My Portable Dreamcast
Just wanted to share with everyone my Portable Dreamcast. I call it the DreamTrooper because it is a portable Dreamcast that looks like a Storm Trooper helmet :) I made it with a 5" Sony Psone screen, Quantam Fighterpad, and 5000maH batteries that last about 2 1/2 hours. My buddy withchuckles picked it up at a local goodwill for five bucks. He also gave me a controller for the awesome console! I am stoked. Now I just need to get games! Then I will be set!! The Dreamcast is a sixth generation video game console which was released by Sega in late 1998 in Japan and in September 1999 in other territories. It was the first entry in the sixth generation of video game consoles, preceding Sony's PlayStation 2, Microsoft's Xbox and the Nintendo GameCube. Dreamcast sales were positive during launch, but because of the strong competition from rival Sony which released the PlayStation 2, the Dreamcast lost much momentum. When the Xbox and GameCube were announced, Sega came to the realization that it did not have the resources to compete and discontinued the Dreamcast in March 2001 which marked its withdrawal from the console hardware business, making it the company's final console. Support of the system continued in Europe and Oceania until the end of 2002, while in Japan, consoles were still sold until 2007 and new licensed games continued to be released. 10.6 million units were sold worldwide, as of 2002. Despite its short lifespan, the Dreamcast has garnered cult status for its history and features. Wall Of Sega Dreamcast! My Latest Faulty Console Haul - Refurbishing Project
Just for fun I thought I'd make a quick video about my latest haul of faulty consoles. Most of these were bought in a single lot on ebay as spares/repair. I managed to snag 10 Sega Dreamcast consoles for a total of £39 + £10 shipping. They were all listed as not reading games so I assumed the worst and expected to cannibalise the lot for parts to resell. At less than £5 per faulty system that would still have been an epic deal! But, to my surprise ALL 10 were easily fixed and now work fine! All I need to do now is clean/refurbish/fully test and mod them. Should keep me busy for several weeks! :)

True Region Free Dreamcast - Modified Dev/Retail BIOS - No More Boot Discs!
Here's an awesome mod I recently discovered and have just completed. This is a Dreamcast mod which will make your Dreamcast 100% region free eliminating boot discs, modchips or rebooting/switching etc. There are a number of ways to do this but I opted for the dual BIOS set-up where you can switch between modified and retail BIOS ROMs when/if needed (might be useful for future BIOS upgrades). This basically involves piggybacking a flash ROM onto the existing retail BIOS chip. You then have the option of booting a modified dev region free BIOS or the stock retail BIOS. Super Speed Racing review (aka Flag to Flag review). Classic Game Room reviews SUPER SPEED RACING, a Japanese Sega Dreamcast driving game. This awful videogame was also released in the west as Flag to Flag for Sega Dreamcast. Open wheel racing in the USA that isn't Indy Car?? CART may no longer be around, but this CART licensed game has drivers like Bobby Rahal and others from 1999-2000. While graphically acceptable for an early Sega Dreamcast release, Super Speed Racing (Flag to Flag) has terrible controls that are amplified in awfulness by the Sega Dreamcast controller's touchy thumbstick. NEXT EPISODE: www.youtube.com This is a video compilation of some Sega Dreamcast games running on 1080p hd in true widescreen (when possible). The emulator is NullDC 1.0.4 played with an xbox360 controller, recorded with FRAPS. Games on this episode: Tokyo Xtreme racer 2, Shenmue, Soul Calibur, Space Channel 5 Part 2. With this Emulator it is possible to recreate true 16:9 visuals thanks to its option that enables the "extra geometry" required to fill the borders of the screen. Some games works great with this option (Space channel 5 part 2 for example) , others like Shenmue will show some graphical glitches on the right and left borders of the screen. That's not an emulator glitch, it is really the way DC calculated the non-visible graphic working in standard 4:3 screen ratio. Soul Calibur it is not compatible with this, so you'll see it running on 4:3, but still on HD. Tokyo Xtreme racer 2 does not requires the extra geometry option enabled since it natively support 16:9: all i had to do was enabling "wide tv" on the game's option menu. Finally note that some graphical glitches are present here and there, that's beacuse the emulator is still in development but allready works really great ihmo. Without the recording software enabled everything runs without any frame drop or sound clipping. Jet Grind Radio is a video game for the Dreamcast, developed by Smilebit and published by Sega on June 29, 2000. A 2D version of the game was later released for Game Boy Advance; this version was developed by Vicarious Visions and published by THQ. A HD version of the game will be released for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and Windows in Summer 2012. Its sequel, Jet Set Radio Future was released 2 years later for the Xbox after Sega became a software-based company. The game is known for spearheading the use of cel-shaded graphics in video games. The game begins in Shibuya-cho, and is introduced by Professor K, the DJ of a pirate radio station based in Tokyo-to, who explains the basics of life in Tokyo-to for a "rudie", the term he uses to refer to young people who roam the streets spraying and skating, as a means of self expression. The city is split into three parts—Shibuya-cho, Benten-cho, and Kogane-cho, each of which corresponds to a different time of day. Shibuya is a shopping district full of blue skies and daylight, Benten a nocturnal entertainment spot that represents night, and Kogane a mostly residential area, built on the water, where it is perpetually sunset. In each of these areas the player will encounter a rival gang - the Love Shockers in Shibuya, the Noise Tanks in Benten, and Poison Jam in Kogane - that attempts to usurp the GG's home turf. The player starts off forming a skate gang which also resides in Shibuya-cho, and thus forms a rivalry <b>...</b>

TPGR : Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast)
Sonic Adventure was the first 3D Sonic game and the first true Sonic game since Sonic and Knuckles on the Genesis/Mega Drive. In the mean time only Sonic 3D blast and Sonic R on Saturn were made but they were not developed by Sonic team. Adventure was expected to be SEGA's answer to the great Mario 64. Obviously, the game did live up to those high expectations but the game was still quite good. Sadly, control issues and what many called "the spinning camera of hell" made the game frustrating and the additional playable characters were not as fun as playing as Sonic himself.
