Here ye, here ye — Please note, tech fans, that the Droid Bionic has finally, finally landed on Verizon. Moto's long-awaited 4G LTE Droid Bionic puts a dual-core 1 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM in your hands, and 4.3-inch qHD display, all in a svelte, supermodel-thin form factor. As far as specs go, this is no slouch, but that's not the most stunning aspect of this debut — it's the accessories. Also available is a compatible HD Station, which lets users view pics and media on any HDTV or monitor. Just hook up your own HDMI cable, and you're viewing your device's multimedia stash, streaming content or webpages on the big screen. Or pick up the Lapdock, and turn the phone into a laptop with a 11.6-inch screen, keyboard and trackpad. I was hoping this Lapdock would be less than AT&T's debut price, but it's actually on par with it, at $299.97. (At least there's a limited time mail-in rebate of $100, with the Lapdock and a qualifying data plan.) Other accessories include a Vehicle Navigation Dock ($39.99), Battery Dock with extra battery ($49.99) and an Adapter for Webtop Application ($29.99). The HD Station is priced at $99.99. Droid Bionic Review Everyone knows that the Droid Bionic was long overdue by the time it landed in September, though the $300 contract price sent some people running to the hills regardless. Meanwhile, others found this Moto handset's dual-core 1 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, 4.3-inch qHD display and 4G/LTE support impossible to resist. So is this top-of-the-line Android phone worth the hype? Well, long story short, it has tremendous call quality and signal (at least where I am), great battery life and snappy performance. So I'm impressed with this handset — so much that I'll even say that I could use this as my daily driver (and I have, for about the last three weeks). We first saw it at CES 2011 and the looks and specs have change drastically since then. Long delays came soon after it CES début and finally released back in September which we did our unboxing, hands-on and first impressions. The Bionic is a much thicker phone that before but runs along the same thickness as most 4G LTE phones on Verizon. The screen is 4.3" and comes with qHD resolution for a sharp-looking images and video. You have your usual touch sensitive menu controls for menu, home, back and search, HDMI and micro USB ports and power buttons on the side. Power button on top and 3.5 mm headphone jack. Above the screen is a VGA camera for video chat and in the rear there is a 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and 1080p HD video capture. The quality runs along the same lines as most high-end Motorola cameras and good enough for people to upload pictures and video to Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. You can check out the sample images and video at the bottom of the review. Internally there is about 24 GB of storage for content with 8 GB of on-board storage and a pre-installed 16 GB micro SD card. there is 1 GB of RAM for plenty of multitasking between apps and a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor to keep Android 2.3.4 running nice and smooth with that Motorola UX on top (formerly known as MOTOBLUR <b>...</b>

It's been a while since we looked at a leather case for any smartphone, so we decided to get back into the fray with the Monaco Executive Leather Case for the Motorola DROID Bionic. Made of GENUINE leather, the Monaco Book Case is a play through design which allows you to fully use your DROID Bionic while it's inside. It also includes Monaco's universal belt clip which can be interchanged with other Monaco cases (primarily leather ones) past and future, so it's worth holding onto them as spares should you need them. Generally speaking, Leather Case users look for style more than function, and although the Monaco case does protect the phone in most situations when it may drop - we know owners will probably trash the case if the finish on it wears down or is damaged anyway.
