Legacy & Innovation: 3 Cry Baby Models From Dunlop

visit crybabydoc.com to view the award winning documentary about the Cry Baby wah wah pedal-"Cry Baby: The Pedal That Rocks The World" In this video Dunlop Manufacturing presents three different Cry Baby Wah-Wah pedal models they currently produce that exemplify the company's mission to preserve the historic legacy of the Cry Baby pedal while at the same time constantly looking for ways to innovate the device to meet the demands of modern players. GCB95 CRY BABY® When people talk about wah-wah pedals, they're talking about the Cry Baby Wahs. This is the one that created some of the most timeless sounds in rock. The pedal that would eventually become the Cry Baby was first created in 1966 by engineers at the Thomas Organ Company and went on to change the sound of electrified music forever. Power: Dunlop ECB003 AC Adapter or Single 9 volt battery GCB95F CRY BABY® CLASSIC The heart and soul of the original wah pedals was the legendary Fasel inductor, and the Cry Baby Classic has it. Why is that important? Because the Fasel inductor was the key to the gorgeous tone, voice, and sweep of those first wahs. Plus, these inductors have been unavailable for decades. Now you can get that magic tone again. Go back in time with the Cry Baby Classic with Fasel Inside. Hear what you've been missing. JOEY DUNLOP♛ tribute♥

Joey Dunlop, born in Ballymoney in 1952, was affectionately known to motorcycle racing fans and competitors alike as, 'King of the Roads' and 'Yer Maun.' Through his courage and ambition he became one of the most successful riders of all time. His incredible sporting career included five Formula One World Championships; 13 wins at the North West 200; 24 wins at the Ulster Grand Prix and a world record of 26 wins at the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy. His sporting achievements were recognised by Her Majesty the Queen when he was awarded an MBE in 1986. Ten years later he was presented with an OBE for his remarkable humanitarian work with children in Eastern Europe. Tragically Joey lost his life whilst racing in Estonia on 2nd July 2000. It is estimated that 60000 people from across the world came to Ballymoney to attend his funeral. In May 2001 Ballymoney Borough Council officially opened the Joey Dunlop Memorial Garden. In this beautiful setting visitors have time to reflect on the unprecedented achievements of this much loved international motorcycling legend. "When you bike by here began all my dreams" Harno

Dunlop Jimi Hendrix FuzzFace Fuzz Pedal

www.ProGuitarShop.com-The Dunlop Jimi Hendrix FuzzFace is another shining example of the dedication of Dunlop's engineers to bringing you the vintage tones you've been looking for. The Jimi Hendrix FuzzFace is an exact duplicate of the 1969 Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face that Jimi used. This is not only an exact copy, the Dunlop engineers went through a pile of FuzzFace madness and replicated the ones they found to have the magic "Voodoo" tone. This recreation is point-to-point wired with the highest quality components to give you the exact tone Jimi was famous for. The Jimi Hendrix FuzzFace is chock full of sweet fuzzy goodness. This pedal was modeled after the later silicon based Arbiter pedal. It isn't quite as muddy as it's germanium counterparts and gives you an awesome, cutting tone that will put your lead out front of the mix. Back off the volume knob and experience incredible clean tones with lot's of chime and character. The Jimi Hendrix Fuzz Face is also true-bypass to keep your signal clean and pure. This FuzzFace is incredible for blues or classic rock. The Jimi Hendrix FuzzFace is the missing link in your tone.

The JBF3 is made with top-shelf components, including Cliff jacks and Omeg pots, and its distinctive finish will develop a unique patina over the years. Two NOS Russian military transistors provide loads of classic, creamy fuzz tones, really coming alive when the Fuzz Face is running full tilt into a cranked tube amp. Dunlop - The Best Guitar Strings for Heavy Metal

Heavy metal/hard rock players may overlook this, but guitar strings make a huge difference in sound -- particularly when you play electric guitar with distortion. I have tried out several string models (and submodels) during all my years playing guitar, including D'addario, Ernie Ball, GHS, Exilir and DR. In my opinion, Dunlop is the best string brand for heavy metal playing. To demonstrate Dunlop's quality, I discuss the following topics on this video: . Overall sound . Cleanliness & definition . Break-in time & tuning stability . Fret buzz "muffle" My gear on this video: . Jackson King V KV2 with Seymour Duncan pickups (TB-4 bridge / JB SH-4 neck) & Floyd Rose tremolo . Gibson Tribal Explorer with 500T / 496R Gibson pickups & Kahler 2215K tremolo . Line 6 Spider IV amplifier (150 Watts) with built-in Insane distortion model

Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Octavio Octave Fuzz Pedal

www.ProGuitarShop.com-The Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Octavio is an exact clone of Jimi's cheese wedge pedal that is enshrined at the Experience Music Project in Seattle. The Dunlop engineers took great pains to bring the tone of this infamous pedal straight to you. Straight up Live at Fillmore tone and screaming fuzz is at your toetips with the Octavio. Complete with a switching Level knob to turn the unit off, the Jimi Hendrix Octavio recreates the exact breadboard circuit as the original. The Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Octavio is fuzzy and warm. The Octavio is not a high output pedal. This baby was built to vintage spec and it sounds vintage. Put your strat in the magic neck position and solo around the 12th fret and you'll see what I mean. Purple Haze has never sounded so exact. The octave effect is subtle just like the original but in front of a cranked Marshall, nothing is subtle. This pedal is best used in front of an already cranked amp, but can be used as a primary fuzz pedal by increasing the Fuzz knob. If you've been looking for that secret tone, the Jimi Hendrix Octavio is it.

Dunlop JC95 Jerry Cantrell Signature Cry Baby Wah Pedal Demo

www.tonefactor.com - The Dunlop JC95 Jerry Cantrell Signature Crybaby Wah pedal offers the kind of wide dark response favored by Jerry. The Cantrell signature wah is custom-voiced for a tight, punchy heel-down guitar tone. One of the most influential guitarists to come out of the Seattle rock scene, Jerry Cantrell's epic riffs and searing tone have been the driving force behind Alice in Chains since the late '80s. His melancholy wah-drenched melodies in modern classics like "Man in the Box" and "The Rooster" left an indelible mark on a generation of guitarists. A rugged side-control knob lets you fine-tune the toe-down frequency. And with its antique, oxidized "road worn" brass casting and custom Alice in Chains tread, the Jerry Cantrell Signature Crybaby is a wah pedal that looks as great as it sounds. Power the Dunlop Jerry Cantrell Signature Wah with a single 9V battery (accessed via the pedal bottom), a Dunlop EC8003 AC adapter, or a Dunlop DCB10 DC Brick power supply (not included). Moto2 Dunlop GP Racer D211

Moto2 Tires Dunlop will provide all Moto2 riders with a choice of two different "A" and specification "B" tires front and rear, preselected by the company's expert tire engineers for each circuit. Dunlop engineers have years of experience and reams of data from all the established circuits on which to base the choice. Some circuits will require 'dual' tires, with different compounds on the left and right shoulders and, in some special cases (like Australia's Phillip Island) also possibly asymmetric construction. It is up to Dunlop to select the tire specifications for each race: a maximum of 16 slick tires may be used per race weekend. All tires will be barcoded and allocated on the day before practice starts to each rider by the Technical Director. Front slick tires: Four of specification 'A' and three of specification 'B' - seven in total. Rear slick tires: Five of specification 'B' and four of specification 'B' - nine in total. Three sets of wet tires in one specification will be allocated: if every practice and the race are declared wet by Race Direction a further set of wet tires will be authorized. As in MotoGP, no "intermediate" tires will be supplied. www.ultimatemotorcycling.com
