Leopard geckos not eating? Make The Slurry, by Golden Gate Geckos
This should only be used if your gecko has not eaten for a long period of time. In a blender, combine: *1 small can Hill's A/D pet food (available at most vets) ¼ cup Ensure (not chocolate) 1 jar baby food squash or pumpkin ¼ cup Pedialite *2 tabs or contents of 2 capsules milk thistle (herbal supplement, liver purifier, found at most drug stores). *2 tabs or contents of 2 capsules of Acidophilus (GI system probiotic, found at most drug stores). 1 tsp. calcium powder w/Vitamin D3 1/2 tsp. herp vitamin powder 2-4 X-large handful of mealworms, added slowly while mixture is blending until it is about the consistency of a milkshake. *optional ingredients Puree all ingredients until completely smooth. Pour into ice cube tray(s) and freeze. Store cubes in zip-lock bag in the freezer until ready to use, then thaw out 1 cube at a time and store in fridge for 2-3 days. You can use the empty baby food jar for this purpose, washing it thoroughly after each use. Using this mixture, draw a full 1ml dropper (eye dropper type) or a syringe and place a drop on the gecko's nose, being careful not to plug the nostrils. Be patient and do not force-feed! The gecko will lick it of its nose, and as it does, slowly squeeze out a little at a time. Most geckos love this food, and will lap it up.

Feeding a baby crow
This is me feeding Oscar, an abandoned baby crow. He was rejected from his nest before he had learnt to fly and broke his leg. Sadly Oscar passed away when he was sleeping the night this video was made. Around spring time it is likely that you will come across a young crow that has been abandoned. They are really worth saving so I would suggest that you do so. DRINK To give it water please do not use a saringe as the water could go down the wrong hole and drown the lungs. Insted you can dip a small paint brush in water and then place it into the beak. Oscar did not know how to drink from a bowl when I fist had him but crows are clever and fast learners. If you fill a small bowl with water and dip the crows beak in it he should learn how to drink independantly. Even when it is not his feeding time you should leave a little bowl of water with him. FOOD A young crow should be fed around every half an hour starting from 6 AM until 10PM. In the video I am feeding Oscar berries from tesco! He also ate minced meat. Do not feed them any dairy. They can only manage small portions of food at a time. Take a peice of food with a pair of tweezers as this mimics the beak of a mother bird. You can also use your fingers but I found tweezers easier. You have to place the tweezers right into the crows beak and he will then pull the food out. A sign that the bird is ready to be fed is he will start opening and closing his mouth. If half an hour has gone and the crow isn't opening his mouth <b>...</b>
