CHOCOLATE ECLAIRS / INGREDIENTS: 2.5 oz / 70g plain flour and a pinch of salt quarter pint / 140ml water 2oz / 55g of butter 2 eggs Small bar of chocolate for decoration half a pint / 285ml of double cream ( and a piping bag) METHOD: ·Pre-heat the oven to 200 C / 390 F ·Place a roasting tin of boiling water on the bottom shelf of the oven ·Place the butter and water into a saucepan and heat on the stovetop. Make sure the butter is fully melted before bringing the mixture to the boil ·Sieve the flour and salt into a bowl ·As soon as the butter and water mixture is boiling nicely, tip the flour and salt into the saucepan (tip it in all at once). Mix together really hard with a wooden spoon until it forms a soft ball ·Take the saucepan off the heat and allow to cool for a few minutes ·Beat the eggs well together ·Add the egg, a little at a time, to the dough in the saucepan. Continue to beat it well with a wooden spoon. ·Return the dough to firmness each time before adding more egg. (The dough should be smooth, shiny and firm once all the egg has been added) ·Place the dough (choux pastry) into a piping back and squeeze sausage shapes of about 3 inches (7.5 cm) onto a baking tray. ·Place in oven for around 20-25 minutes until risen and golden ·With a knife, pierce a little slit in the side of each éclair and then return them to the oven for about 5 minutes (this helps them to dry out a little <b>...</b>

All props go to him and the great things he's doing for the Android community =) If you're excited as I am for Android 2.0 Eclair then this is a great way to get a preview of what it will be like (not necessarily how it will perform). In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make a Faux Chocolate Éclair Cake. This cake is quickly and easily put together using graham crackers and fluffy vanilla pudding. It is frosted with Betty's All-Purpose Chocolate Frosting and then is chilled for 24 hours. When served, the cake slices taste very much like Chocolate Eclairs! Ingredients: 1 pound box graham crackers 1 large package instant vanilla pudding 3 cups milk 8-oz. container Cool Whip (whipped topping) 1 recipe of Betty's All-Purpose Chocolate Frosting (from bettyskitchen) or 1 can chocolate frosting cooking oil spray Spray the bottom and sides of a 13-inch by 9-inch by 2-inch baking dish or pan with cooking oil spray. Cover the bottom with 1 inner pack of graham crackers. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl, combine a large package of vanilla pudding with 3 cups milk. Beat with an electric mixer or stick blender for about 2 minutes, until pudding thickens. Let the pudding sit in the refrigerator for 5 to 10 minutes to set. Gently fold in an 8-oz. carton of Cool Whip. Pour half of the pudding mixture over the layer of graham crackers in the baking dish. Place the second inner pack of graham crackers over the pudding layer. Pour the remaining pudding over the second layer of graham crackers. Cover the pudding layer with the third inner pack of graham crackers. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours. This recipe is so far my longest video yet. I split this project into two days, although you can easily make it in one. The first day, I made the eclairs and the puffs using Chantilly cream, the second day I made different eclairs and puffs with icing, custard and chocolate. This recipe can be used in any occasion, make sure to make enough swans or other shapes especially if you have kids ( my swans didn't live enough to make it from my kitchen to the table)./ Cette recette est la plus longue vidéo que j'ai faite jusqu'a maintenant.
