MIG-25 - Earthviews - To the edge of Space - 92.500ft

Soar to the heavens, and beyond! Info: The very breathtaking music on this video is made from Paul Hunters "Psh Project". Title is "Awakening". When Icarus gazed into the heavens and set forth his plan to reach them in flight, the wise words of his father, "Icarus, my son, I charge you to keep at a moderate height," would have been unnecessary if he'd had a MiG -- 25... and our wings won't melt!! Built around massive Tumansky turbojets, the MiG -- 25 Foxbat, with its nearly 46-foot wingspan, is capable of catapulting off the runway and climbing 65000 feet into the air in less than nine minutes! Now, picture yourself in the cockpit of this high-speed interceptor on your way to the "Top of the World!" We flew from the year 2000 up to 2006 on the Zuchowsky Airbase, nearby Moscow. Customers love it. This video is a editd video what we used as advertisement in this time. The original tapes are in our safe, and it shows partly my own ride to an altitude of 92.500ft. Attention: This video is the original video what you will find on a lot of sites on YouTube. There is no permission to use it in another version, doesn't matter if re-edited or not. The video can be used, AS it is. Please, respect it. Thank you very much! It is not in our intension, to fight against users who edited the video and shows it as their own, but the footage is very rare and costs a lot of - time and money.

MIG-25 - Edge of Space Flight

Your adventure begins when you fasten yourself into your own cockpit of the two-seater MiG -- 25 and you taxi onto the runway. You blast off at an amazing 238 mile per hour, and within minutes, you burst through the clouds and head for the heavens. As your highly-skilled pilot eases the enormous turbine engines into maximum power, you are miles above the earth and then you break through the sound barrier! Now, higher than any other humans, except for the crew members of the International Space Station - who are a mere 217 miles above you -- your pilot shows you the true capabilities of the graceful beast that cradles you. You'll experience thrilling maneuvers like barrel roles and parabolas. When the afterburners are ignited, the aircraft is now traveling at Mach 2 and you're headed towards the stratosphere! The Earth appears serene and unreal almost 10 miles below, and above you you're surrounded by stars. No passenger jet could ever reach such heights. You have, "Slipped the surely bounds of earth and touched the face of God." You are at the edge of the universe! Your trained and experienced pilot then puts the aircraft into a steep Mach 2.6 curve; you experience 2 to 4 G's of force, and before you know it you're almost 16 miles above the earth and you can see what Galileo only guessed... the curve of the Big Blue Marble is before you! During the winter months, between November and March, the MiG -- 25 is capable of reaching even greater heights... altitudes of 16 to 20 ...

UFO Sighting Over Moscow Russia of Massive Craft Hiding in Cloud, Oct 6, 2009.

On Wednesday evening, of October 6, 2009, an odd shaped cloud appeared over the Western part of Moscow, Russia. This cloud glowed with white light and was in the shape of a huge disk. It was so large that some who witnessed the event had said that it was similar in size to the mother ship in the ID4 movie. Along the edges of the cloud could be seen a white light, which shone brightly in the evening sky. Understand this however; high above this white cloud were black clouds that totally blocked out the sky, therefore it is logical to assume that the light from the white cloud could not have come from the sun, since no sun could be seen through the separate sheet of black clouds that was far above the UFO. The video that has been seen all over the Internet and television news was shot on Moscow Ring Road (coincidence?) in a car traveling from Volokolamsky to Novorizhskoe highway. Like most sightings, this one would have disappeared into obscurity if it had not been so brilliantly recorded on someone's cell phone camera and uploaded to Youtube.com for the public to take notice. Many weather scientists and specialists looked at the footage to find the cause of the white glowing cloud formation. They have ruled out chemical pollution and said that it could not possibly be any form of known weather phenomenon. Instead scientist say that it was no more than an optical illusion or in other words, your eyes fooled you into thinking you saw a glowing disk shape several kilometers ...

Want more? Subscribe to NASA on iTunes! phobos.apple.com The Aeronomy of Ice in the Mesosphere (AIM) mission will provide the first detailed exploration of Earth's unique and elusive noctilucent or night shining clouds that are found literally on the "edge of space." Located near the top of the Earth's mesosphere (the region just above the stratosphere), very little is known about how these polar mesospheric clouds form or why they vary. They are being seen at lower latitudes than ever before and have been growing brighter and more frequent, leading some scientists to suggest that this recent increase may be the direct result of human-induced climate change. www.bestrussiantour.com Flying the up-to-date combat fighters is the latest hot trend in VIP-vacations or VIP-tourism gaining more and more popularity around the world. While some time back watching the Earth from the altitude of 22-23 km and seeing practically the same as spacemen can was something only air-force pilots could enjoy, now every man of means can see the Earth virtually from Space and join the stars for an instant For quite some time the fighter jet tours in Russia were flown from Zhukovsky AF base (Moscow), however its been more than two years since such operations there were stopped. Our company organized and starting from 2006 has successfully been performing official flights in the MiG-29 and the MiG-31 (analogue of the MiG-25) jet fighters in the city of Nizhny Novgorod (450 km from Moscow) at the facility of Nizhny Novgorod Aviation Plant Sokol.

Red Square Glitz: Shopping spree time machine in Moscow's GUM

RT heads to a legendary shopping mall that was built by the tsars, hated by Stalin and is now place the capital's fashion lovers just cannot do without. If you still have not bought your Christmas presents, there is one place in Moscow where you can do it in true style. Just opposite the Kremlin and Lenin's Mausoleum, there is Russia's largest department store, dating back to the days of the tsars. Size, glamour and lavish architecture -- what else would you expect from a shopping center that stands in Red Square? Taking up the entire eastern side of Red Square, it is known as GUM, which is short for "Main Department Store." The site where it stands has for centuries been a bustling trading quarter. When the building opened in 1893, its steel framework and glass roof were on the cutting edge of technology. With its mix of steel and glass, GUM resembles the 19th-century train stations of Paris and London, while its traditional Russian-style decorations make it look more like a medieval palace than a shopping mall. The building oozes wealth and luxury: marble, granite and limestone are everywhere. The three-story complex has three levels for a true shop-till-you-drop experience. At the end of the 19th century, it was the largest shopping center in Europe. Before the 1917 Revolution, it contained a staggering 1200 stores. After the Revolution, vibrant trading dwindled, and in 1928 GUM was closed and turned into offices. The opulent building, however, continued to be an ...

UFO cloud mystery worldwide sightings - Secret experiments Alien spaceships weather

droidzilla.blogspot.com Spectacular and alarming pictures of UFO clouds have emerged worldwide showing eerie illuminated discs in the sky which look like alien spaceships. Are they from outer space or is there a natural phenomenon behind the sightings? Most of the pictures are from Indonesia but there have been similar sighting in Moscow, Romania, Florida and elsewhere in 2009. Since then, theories have come thick and fast. Possibilities include aliens, secret military experiments or natural consequences of climate change. In the film Independence Day, extraterrestrial spaceships hid behind odd round clouds. UFO expert and author Hartwig Hausdorf (54) said: This film idea is based on reports that we have from an uncountable number of eyewitnesses. In 2006 a flying saucer rose from a disused part of Chicago airport and floated at around 600 metres up in the sky. It then hid behind the clouds and later shot away at a speed of around 1000 km/h. Hausdorf added: The UFO rips a circular hole in the upper surface of the cloud, which it closes only after some time. These aircrafts have a manoeuvre capability that is impossible for conventional planes. Weather forecaster Karsten Brandt (36) looked at the photos. Her opinion is that they are not fakes but explainable natural phenomenon. • In Indonesia a very high thundercloud could have been filmed in the sunlight, almost at the edge of the atmosphere. • The Moscow photos looked to him like two layers of clouds lying on top of one ...

Electronic System - Back Home (1977) space disco synth moog

Dan Lacksman was a member of the highly influential Telex band from back in the late 70's, who delivered such classics as 'Moscow Disko' a Carl Craig fave, here his very rare solo album of Moog style disco cuts gets a timely re-issue on Belgiums Archive series. 7 tracks of Giorgio Moroder basslines, lush Manuel Gottsching style strings and a hint of the old Telex funk are all on here, especially the lead cut 'Flight to Tokyo' with its uplifting 4/4 vibe and vintage emotive strings that deliver a fine taste of the LP. Also the ambient start of 'Sailing to an Unknown Planet' evokes the classic Moog period, with a deeper edge, and "Back Home" is a fine example of the tracks to be found on Electronic System's "Disco Machine" 1977 Album!

Yuri Gagarin meeting with BBC Journalist Reg Turnill

Reg Turnill joined the BBC in 1956 with the remit to cover aviation and defence. The launch of Sputnik 1 in the following year expanded his remit to include space. He is particularly well known for his coverage of the American Apollo program. In the UK, his name and face, along with that of Patrick Moore and James Burke, is associated with the commentators who covered live the Apollo Moon landings on the BBC. In April 1961, Reg was sent to Moscow for Gagarin's first post flight international news conference. It turned out to be a fascinating story of cold war politics as well as leading edge space technology. In his own words Reg describes this as " a phony press conference, an entirely choreographed event designed to humiliate the west" and he summarised the whole press conference as "good humoured evasion". Interacting through an interpreter and restricted to pre submitted written questions, he had to put aside his usual analytical approach. However he recognises that this was "a great achievement". This interview was recorded on January 19th 2011 at his home on the south coast of England.

The Art of Vladimir Kush

Vladimir Kush' is a Russian born painter, who is identified with the metaphorical realism movement. Born in 1965 in Moscow, he learned to draw at home and started attending an art school at the age of 7. He entered the Moscow art institute at 17, and when he went for his mandatory two years of military service at 18 was soon set to painting murals and canvases rather than regular infantry duties. Bored with the Cézanne-style painting his art school concentrated on, Kush switched to surreal images as a teenager; he experimented with different styles of impressionism after seeing a book of Salvador Dalí's work in the late 1980s but it didn't appeal because shape was lost in the style. Strongly influenced by his father (a scientist), he believes that realistic paintings show the artist's professional skill and draw the viewer in so that they accept the impossible images enough to see the metaphors in them and explore the different layers of meaning. In 1990 he showed works in Germany together with two other Russian artists; he visited Los Angeles for a show and stayed in the United States. X-15 Crash Landing (1962)

airboyd.tv Courtesy NASA Langley Research Center On 9 November 1962, an engine failure forced Jack McKay, a NASA research pilot, to make an emergency landing at Mud Lake, Nevada, in the second X-15 (56-6671); its landing gear collapsed and the X-15 flipped over on its back. McKay was promptly rescued by an Air Force medical team standing by near the launch site, and eventually recovered to fly the X-15 again. But his injuries, more serious than at first thought, eventually forced his retirement from NASA. The aircraft was sent back to the manufacturer, where it underwent extensive repairs and modifications. It returned to Edwards in February 1964 as the X-15A-2, with a longer fuselage (52 ft 5 in) and external fuel tanks. The X-15 was flown over a period of nearly 10 years--June 1959 to Oct. 1968--and set the world's unofficial speed and altitude records of 4520 mph (Mach 6.7) and 354200 ft in a program to investigate all aspects of manned hypersonic flight. Information gained from the highly successful X-15 program contributed to the development of the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo manned spaceflight programs, and also the Space Shuttle program. The X-15s made a total of 199 flights, and were manufactured by North American Aviation. North American X-15A-2, serial number 56-6671, is at the United States Air Force Museum, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.

U2 approached NASA with an idea to include a dialogue between themselves and the crew of the International Space Station in the U2 360 show. NASA astronauts spoke with U2 several times before recording a video segment that U2 incorporated into their concert. The Expedition crew members include; NASA astronaut Mike Barratt, Canadian Space Agency astronaut Bob Thirsk, European Space Agency astronaut Frank De Winne, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Koichi Wakata and Russian cosmonauts Gennady Padalka and Roman Romanenko. Commander Frank De Winne, and Russian cosmonaut Roman Romanenko attended the U2 show in Moscow on August 25 and met with the band before the show. 'Working with U2 is atypical for NASA,' said Bill Gerstenmaier, NASA's associate administrator for Space Operations. 'By combining their world tour with the space station's out-of-this-world mission, more people - and different people than our normal target audiences - learned about the International Space Station and the important work we are doing in orbit.' Hoagland talked about the concept of disclosure and ET contact, as well as NASA and the space program. He referenced Arthur C . Clarke's books, such as 2010: The Year We Make Contact, and suggested that writers such as Clarke were using a kind of code to share inside information. Contact or disclosure has already taken place-- not the revealing of ET beings, but the remnants of their technology or machinery, he explained. He cited the Norway Spiral and Moscow Tetrahedron, which appeared on the same day at the end of 2009, as possible examples of this technology. He also discussed the possibility that NASA has a secret space program. "I'm thinking that maybe some of the UFO traffic, those cables that Assange threatened to reveal, in fact has nothing to do with UFOs-- it's all about secret spacecraft," he said. Hoagland also analyzed the deeper theological implications of the Pope's new willingness to "baptize aliens," which suggests to him that the Church is aware that ETs are part of the human family. A Psychic Look at 2011 First hour guest, psychic Joseph Jacobs shared what he sees in store for the new year ahead. Using a 52-card divination system, he explained that "numerology is spiritual arithmetic." 2011 will be a year to build or break down, he said. Gamma Ray - Real World - Tradução

Here I sit again and think about the world we know the same old thing, where do we come from and where do we go Sometimes I worry just too much, sometimes I just don't care and if you're with me on this point, put your hands high in the air Let me hear you say Yeah! Sometimes I'm happy as can be and sometimes feel so low and what is good and what is bad, I sometimes just don't know The world is the most crazy place that we could have been It seems the meaning of our life is going down in sin So let me live and let me be your eyes are blind but I can see God is an illusion and there ain't no paradise and there is no underworld below Out there is no Heaven and there ain't no Antichrist Welcome to the real World and the show! So let me take you down my dear to places you don't know a land that you have not been to and normally don't go I have all your pleasure toys, the fortune and the fame so when you come with me my friend you'll never be the same So just say yeah, and come with me don't be so blind, it's time to see God is an illusion and there ain't no paradise and there is no underworld below Out there is no Heaven and there ain't no Antichrist Welcome to the real World and the show! Don't be afraid now of the faces in the night and let your body take control We're going down into the beam of the neon lights and I will purify your soul Yeah! Standing on a razor's edge, lost in space and time All around the silence falls, prepared to draw the line A shot, a cry, a flash ...

Name: Pemale Petrova Yaninska Age: 15 Country: Bulgaria City: Sofia Secondary School William Gladstone, 9-th grade Teacher name: Nikolay Yordanov Parent name: Verzhiniya Yaninska Scenario: Piloted Flights in Space -- Natural Development and my Future Profession What is cosmonautics? It is something unique. It is the process of exploring the outer space with the assistance of automatic and piloted devices. The beginning of the practical assimilation of space started on October 4, 1957. The first artificial satellite of Earth was successfully launched by the Soviet Union. We all know April 12 as the day of the first piloted space flight. It is the international day of aviation and cosmonautics. On that day we commemorate those best achievements and take a bow to the heroes responsible for them. In April 12-th, 1961 at 09:07am Moscow time, the first cosmonaut - Yuri Gagarin, soars in space and completed an orbit of the Earth. The flight lasts only 1 hour and 48 minutes, but stays forever in human history. The best achievement in the cosmonautics area is when a man set foot on the Moon. On July 21, 1969, the American astronaut Neil Armstrong makes the first step on the surface of the Earth's natural satellite. In my opinion we should put an emphasis on the development of cosmonautics and continue the exploration of space. Science and technology advance quickly and every day new people realize their ideas. They research, study and invent future projects. A cosmonaut's career ...

This year's show is expected to be record-breaking in all aspects, with over 200 planes, helicopters and other airborne vehicles taking part. The audience will get a chance to watch most of them in flight. The aviation salon about to open outside of Moscow will be held from the 16th to 21st of August. Alongside the Farnborough and Le Bourget events, MAKS is steadily ranking among the world's leading aviation forums. Russia's fifth-generation multirole fighter - the advanced frontline aircraft system - will become the highlight of the performance to be demonstrated both on the ground and in the air. US Air Force aircraft, namely Boeing and Airbus, are also going to be featured in Zhukovsky, following a four-year break. People will be, among other things, allowed to take a closer look at the long-haul Boeing-787 Dreamliner passenger aircraft capable of carrying out non-stop flights over a distance of 15000 kilometers with some 250-330 passengers on board, depending on the modification. Another product of the US aerospace industry, the world's largest wide-body passenger aircraft Airbus A380, will conduct daily demonstration flights. Mission To Mars

Science & Reason on Facebook: tinyurl.com Mars 500 - Human Spaceflight Mission To The Red Planet Human exploration of our Solar System is an important focus for ESA. The European Space Agency has started on the path to making this a reality in the future. Making sure that our astronauts are prepared mentally and physically for the demands of long exploration missions is imperative a mission's success. In light of this, ESA is undertaking a cooperative project with the Russian Institute for Biomedical Problems (IBMP) in Moscow, called Mars500. --- Please subscribe to Science & Reason: • www.youtube.com • www.youtube.com • www.youtube.com • www.youtube.com --- ESA's Directorate of Human Spaceflight has a long tradition of conducting research on the physiological and psychological aspects of spaceflight. ESA's bedrest studies, in particular, are at the forefront of scientific research to understand how the human body reacts under weightless conditions, in order to devise effective countermeasures and enable humans to undertake long missions in space effectively. Mars500 is part of these scientific efforts to prepare for human exploration missions. When preparing for long space missions beyond the six-month range currently undertaken by Expedition crews on the International Space Station (ISS), medical and psychological aspects become an issue of major importance.
