Excerpted from the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, a trio of hilarious editorials by the immortal Patrick Layton Paulsen. The topics were as relevant then as they are today: social security, gun control and health care. Pat Paulsen may have left us, but you can still vote for him! I am posting this video not only to provide a tribute to Paulsen but to also let everyone know that The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour is finally being released to DVD on Sept. 16. It's being released in reverse order starting with season 3, so please buy the set and show them how many people would like to see all of the Comedy Hours eventually released to DVD.

Red eye shadow has been seen on the runway a lot over the past few seasons, most notably at Thakoon A/W 2011 and Miu Miu S/S 2012. I personally feel it looks more modern when you colour block it as a single shade. Blending it with other shades or trying to make it subtle and wearable feels like a total misnomer and slightly misses the point. Whenever I use red on the eyes for editorial I love it best as a bold, clean statement. One could probably make any shade of red work with the right application and make-up on the rest of the face however, as much as I don't really like make-up 'rules', I do feel that for the novice red eye shadow wearer there are certain shades that work best on different skin tones. Hi everyone, I was practicing covering my brows using the glue stick method because I haven't done it in ages and I'm aware that I'll have to do it a lot around hallowe'en. Anyway, I thought since I'd covered my brows it would be a waste to simply wipe it off again. So I turned on my camcorder, started experimenting, and this is what happened. Oh, not to mention the cheesy model poses in the photos.. hahaha! I think often the best work comes from complete improvisation - I know this is a fact for me anyway. I hope you all like this! I was very happy with the outcome :). Music is called Day Old Hate; it's sung by Natalie Lungley and the guitar is played by Matt Lungley.
