Ok, so this project is very very old. I found it in my pc files and decided to finish it . I have always dreamed to make an amv with this song, because it is fantastic in my opinion, so I've chosen elfen lied anime. I think there is no need to say why - elfen lied is PERFECT for this song. Elfen lied is my favorite anime and still I didn't make any full serious projects using it, so at last I did :) This video is about Lucy and Nyuu. Although I put some scenes with Nana but just because those scenes were very useful for me. The main story is about Lucy and Nyuu. For those who didn't watch this anime - Lucy and Nyuu are the same person. Lucy ir creature with very strong power - invisible hands, which are perfect killing instruments. Her life was very hard, she hates all human (the story of anime tells why), she kills everybody. She was captured by human, but she escaped and killed all guards like you'll see in the end of my video. But human shooted into her head. She lost her memory and didn't talk, just said "Nyuu" that's why her new name was Nyuu. Sometimes Lucy in Nyuu again wakes up with wish to kill human around. But Nyuu is in good hands of good people now, and most of the time she is Nyuu not Lucy. That's why I made video about Nyuu and Lucy - sisters of Destiny. I love them both :) I must say this video is very simple! There are no big or interesting effects :/ It's probably because this video is sad and slow, so there is no need to put lots of colourful tasteless <b>...</b>

It was originally composed by Kayo Konishi and Yukio Kondou with lyrics based on Latin biblical texts. Due to popular demand, I decided to arrange a complex piano version that captures as much detail from the original as possible. However, in doing so, I have made the piece quite challenging to play. I believe the original song was composed for either a piano quintet (2 violins, 1 viola, 1 cello, 1 piano) and vocals or a string chamber ensemble plus a piano and vocals. Thus, one of the challenges in reducing this score to for solo piano was to choose the which pitches to include in order to capture the fullness of strings, while at the same time keeping in mind the constraints of the pianist (eg maximum stretch, pedaling with minimal blurring). The melodic line often crosses under or is surrounded by harmonizing parts. One of the most difficult passages is at bar 9 (at 0:55 and at 2:23) where the middle triplet figures are shared by both hands. Lilium, from Elfen Lied, composed by Yukio Kondo (近藤由紀夫) and Kayo Konishi (小西香葉), arranged and performed on guitar by me da Vynic. After I saw numerous talented youtubers covering this enchanting song, out of curiosity I located and watched the anime Elfen Lied. For someone who grew up watching Doraemon and Saint Seiya, Elfen Lied is definitely highly unusual, even a little scary. This psychological horror drama contains so many tabooed and controversial themes that you don't (and shouldn't) normally see in other TV animes. Its nonlinear plots portray issues such as social alienation, identity, love, jealousy, hatred, revenge animal cruelty, and value of humanity, immersed under scenes of graphic violence and hidden behind innocent-looking characters. My favourite episode is Episode 9, titled "Reminiscence ~ Schöne Erinnerung" "Tsuioku" (追憶). I like the plot where it tells how Kohta first met Lucy, as well as the rest of their childhood memory. Lucy's struggle against dissociative identity disorder and Kohta's sufferance from repressive traumatic memories is sad. Having said that, although Elfen Lied is remarkable, it is not yet my favourite anime, Animatrix and Macross Zero are.

Sont Title : In the house - in a heartbeat by John Murphy First off, this isn't an AMV. It's my first attempt at a making a trailer. It's 2 things... 1. Paying homage to the best horror film series of the new millennium, 28 days/weeks later. Which is where the music came from, and obviously the title I gave this video is playing off the film's title. Based on the anime and manga series. -- Elfen Lied concerns a young Diclonius named Lucy, one of a species wholly different from mankind characterized by small horns on their head and the ability to wield deadly invisible hands called 'vectors'. She escapes the facility she has been held captive to the mainland and is taken under the wing of university student Khota. Her vengeful personality is repressed, supplanted by her new identity as the innocent Nyu. However she is still sought by the people who want her as a weapon and her fellow killcrazed Diclonius. -- I have only seen bits and pieces of this series so my interpretation may uninformed. Likewise I had limited resources for something this specific, but I did my best to capture the emotions, characters, and themes as well as iconic images like the vectors. A lot of trailers for Elfen Lied make it out to be a bubbly anime romance when really its one of the most violent animes or mangas out there, hence my choice of scenes and music.
