A quick guide to the voodoo lab sparke drive pedal that I purchased about 6 months ago. It's a great overdrive pedal that's not harsh like some pedals on the market. I am showing you the tone of the pedal through a Fender De-Ville set on the clean channel on 1/12 on the volume control (yeah the volume goes to 12 lol) I am playing a Gibson ES-335 and a Fender Deluxe 50th Anniversary Stratocaster. The video camera audio clips a bit so apologies for that if the sound is crappy.

During the video recording, I was simultanuously recording my playing on SONAR. I later used the audio track that I had recorded as an overdub on the video file for better audio quality. On this clip you can hear the sound without any effect. I used some VST effects (delay, reverb) in some points in order to enhance the sound....

Short snippet of my Tokai ES 135. Used a Gregor Hilden riff as the basis for it and then soloed over the top. Check Gregor out - he has a channel called "gregsguitars" (it's in my favorites) and combines blues and jazz to create some wonderful tunes. Once again theres an RC-2 looper and an SD-1 for the overdrive, all played through a marshall valvestate 8080. Apologies for any mistakes and the quite terrible sound quality. Take care, J.

This guitar was made in the "Memphis Custom" shop around 2 weeks ago. It arrived at the dealer a few days ago and I bought it yesterday! This guitar is a VERY good example of a GOOD Gibson! Anyway, I'm playing it through my Mesa Electra Dyne 1x12" combo loaded with SED EL34 power tubes and the stock preamp tubes. No pedals or anything. Listen to that TONE!
