Spearfishing a few hours away from La Paz, Mexico in a small remote town called San Evaristo. The fish were plentiful and hospitality was awesome. We arranged a spearfishing charter through www.bajaspearfishingadventures.com. Patrick was our guide, and he did an amazing job. He went out of his way to make us as comfortable as possible from reeling in the float lines to changing my batteries on my gopro. Patrick is an easy guy to get along with and highly recommend having him as a guide. Antonio was the captain of the boat and he took us to some of his favorite spots. He would clean the fish and his wife would cook them for us. She was a fantastic cook! I wish I took more pictures. a piece i made a while ago. my approach to the song was a lot of fun for me, if you know the routine you might know what im talking about. anyway, just having fun...its always dope to watch jillian get down, she took class, and we didn't finish so after she learned the rest and we recorded it. personally its sooo fun to dance and feels really good once you get to the end. enjoy.

So I basically had very little time due to turn in a submission video(s) for NEYO's upcoming tour, none of my submissions made it but I was still absolutely happy with what i created and really thankful for all the people that helped out in the crazy short amount of time:) so this piece was meant to be simple, nothing crazy. i wanted him to be able to be able to still showcase his voice but show emotion through his movement. many times artists show the "superstar" side of them, but instead i wanted to show the neyo before he stepped on stage. enjoy:)

I like this one, read the rest of the description if you want to know what was going through my head. but yea, I believe im going to use this concept for Tae Yang sometime in the future:) I really want to develop the Idea more and do more things with it, i barely had enough time here so hopefully i get a song from him in his next solo debut that works well so i can actually bring it to life on stage! So I basically had very little time due to turn in a submission video(s) for NEYO's upcoming tour, none of my submissions made it but I was still absolutely happy with what i created and really thankful for all the people that helped out in the crazy short amount of time:) In particular, this piece i only had 3 hours to get everything done right and an hour in the actual studio to record. it looks really simple, and the choreography is, but working with the mic stand was a B@#$%. ha there were 4 different axis points, so figuring out what time each thing turns or moves was and who was going to move them was crazy, let alone trying to find out what time each dancer was supposed to move around haha and then figuring out where i go and making sure we hit marks all within the time frame. it was actually a bit stressful. anyway, regardless it was fun and a great experiment. lookin forward to using this later. thx to jeka for recording, she makes a finger cameo in the beginning haha. and thx to aimee, aye and asaki for the last minute help!! friends are good to have, i like all <b>...</b>

So I basically had very little time due to turn in a submission video(s) for NEYO's upcoming tour, none of my submissions made it but I was still absolutely happy with what i created. this one specifically was done in 3-4 hours. staging or blocking a piece, is most of the time harder than making the choreography. at least in my opinion....and creating the concept and bringing it to life, yea definitely a challenge. ha So being that, this was for his tour mostly everything here was created for stage. so dancing is minimal/simple and staging was everything. I believe less is more. I went along the plain lines of "miss independent" and what that means so with that, basically he see's his boss in a meeting, starts to day dream or get lost in his own world. all of the fun stuff happens and he has to snap back to reality by the person that he's actually day dreaming about. was fun to play around and i enjoyed putting it together. Thanks to Pat Cruz (@pat_cruz) for assisting. he's a technical genius, really he is. when we work together, everything seems easy. also thanks to the company (@companyfam) and Ms. aimee lucas (@aimeeleelucas) for coming through. also thank you to artressa for the amazing camera work:) and wspa for the space! The last one...sorry guys. So I basically had very little time due to turn in a submission video(s) for NEYO's upcoming tour, none of my submissions made it but I was still absolutely happy with what i created. this one was done in 3-4 hours as well, when you have good people around things can be fun and fast. This piece in particular was about moments, the song is about celebration and so what better way to do that than in the club. but I wanted the artist to pretty much be able to control his environment, so in the piece he's free to do what he wants. Once again thanks to Pat cruz for assisting. he's really F@#$king awesome, i can't say enough. Thanks to the company fam for pulling through as always and supporting me as i do my thing in the industry. thanks to aims once again with the last minute help and also wspa for the space.
