Shooting HD 720p video on the move using Sony Ericsson Arc with the new Exmor R sensor. The video quality is great for a night shot, lights are visible as well as details on the buildings but so is the noise. Exmor does a decent jobs and it's certainly a welcome improvement in the Android camera phone arena. I constructed the telescope, and camera that captured a solar flare. You physically cannot buy the equipment I use, it is 100percent custom modified by my two hands. This video is unedited, and what appears in real time. The shaking is caused by a steady 20mph wind that plagued my entire recording session. The flare lasted for 7 minutes, and left behind a nice burn cavity in its pressure wake.

This handycam is equipped with the 1/4" sony Exmor-R sensor and wide angle sony G-lens. The small size, 12x optical zoom, active image stabilization and built in 16 GB of flash memory makes this handycam attractive for consumers, but do these technologies really work and are worth the price? Watch the vid and decide for yourself. I tried to compile as much as possible in this small vid - Low Lux mode (vids taken at night, so the grain is visible), Capabilities of the active OIS at zoomed state, TeleMacro mode, Moon is for comparative reasons to understand what image can be acquired at max zoom.
