This song is so good it makes baby jesus cry. I'm a little dubious about some of their charting decisions (particularly a solo in the middle where the guitar line is just playing the rythym chords, and right at the beginning where they charted the less complex of the two guitar lines), but still - not the best chart ever, but the song MORE than makes up for it. Yep, this video was pretty much my most recognized FC on GHM. This was viewed over 50000 times on my old channel and was responsible for about 7% of the video views I received each day up until the point when my channel got suspended. This was a pretty big deal for me. Lets have the same effect again now. =) This FC wasnt as hard as some of the FCs I got in GHM, but it was in no way easy. I got the solo down pretty quickly, but then it was a matter of (A) hitting it in a real run and (B) not choking post solo. A didnt prove to be too hard but B really proved to be a challenge. This was supposed to be my 400th video on my original account but, thanks to about 10 chokes post solo (all in the running bridge), I decided to put up my Fade to Black FC (which also proved to be very successful view-wise and was one of my most popular videos when my account went under). Once I got past the running bridge with an FC, I got it. Well, this is the last classic video I will upload for awhile. It is also video #99. You know what that means! Tomorrow, I will upload my Judas Kiss FC. Hopefully that will be my ticket to get some subscribers back. That, and this video, of course. =) Until tomorrow, enjoy!

EDIT: Why do people still want to see the song "Through the Fire and Flames" played? That game is over 4 years old and the song is almost 5 years old. I don't get why so many people want to see that song be FCd by everyone even if the exact same people say the song "isn't that hard." I don't understand why there aren't any trolls atm that are against any more Through the Fire and Flames FCs. The song sucks. I played GH:SH and relearned all the parts in about 20 minutes, and I'll try it for a little bit a day when I get the chance but I hate hearing the song over and over. I really don't like how the GH community is obsessing over TTFAF and DWDTG. I guess it's because almost all of the "play real instrument" trolls are gone and only the fans since GH3 are staying. This is what you all have been waiting for. Finally, I managed to FC this one. It's not really that difficult song, but there are few tricky parts in this epicness. And it's loooong. Chokable, easily. My two common chokes were in the beginning of the first guitar solo (thrills mainly 2:43, I suck at those) and the piano part in the middle of the song (3:34). And I know what most of you think of. Most of the charting is piano playing but really... Who cares? That's what this song is about in most parts. I don't mind at all that I have to play piano with my GH controller. After all, it's all just a game.

Wow - I can't believe I got this one so quickly - I didn't even have to take any of the solos into Practice Mode - this kind of thing is definitely my forte though - very little strumming and lots of fngerwork :) I NEARLY choked in the slide section at the end, but managed to hold on for what I believe is the first FC of this. It's not really much more difficult than the GH3 chart, but the little trilly parts in the verses make it a little more interesting to play - fun chart

Yeah, about the intro, I'm getting a new pedal for *cough* my personal holiday celebration (Christmas), so hopefully more shitty drum videos soon. About the FC, this solo was pretty easy for me to get, but the FC all together was pretty difficult. Can't believe I got this and Tom Sawyer before FP/LT, but it's coming. I'm also getting Rock Band 2 soon, hopefully for Christmas, so expect some of those vids soon as well.

I would've gotten 20k more than that score if I hadn't accidentally strummed twice like a dumbass. But either way, I'm REALLY proud of myself for getting this, even though it took WAAAAY longer than what I expected it would take. But, this is by far the best achievement I have ever gotten on a GH/RB game. This is definitely the hardest song on any setlist, besides on Guitar Hero Smash Hits, because TTFAF is the hardest on this setlist.
