The 2010 edition of the Electrolux Design Lab competition focuses on creative solutions for compact living. The 2010 brief asked industrial design students to consider how people will prepare and store food, wash clothes, and do dishes in the homes of 2050, when 74%* of the global population are predicted to live in an urban environment. Here are eight concepts that provide a glimpse of the future.

Five finalists are chosen from a maximum of 24 entrants, who perform two tunes each. Each finalist plays a further two tunes. The judges this year were Don Ross, Antoine Dufour, Tony McManus, and Radio-Canada's Dan Berhman. For this video i am using the RC3 boss loop pedal. Also cornford amps (handbuilt british amps) for the guitars, i use a selection of fender stratocastors, gibson Les pauls and the vigier excalibur. I was on this account. Got bored. Uploaded this. Enjoy. [May 23rd] An entry I made for Anime Boston 09, I sort of delved into this project without much thought for plot or coherency. It was most all just showcasing of what I can do, sync, and flow. However, it does tend to get repetitive in many aspects, from a certain light I feel that it still holds a nouveau sense of grandeur. Ah, anyways, I was able to place as a finalist for Fun/Upbeat/Other, though unfortunately failed to secure "Winner" (Bleh).
