One witness said the killer said 'Wallah', an Arabic slang term for 'I swear to God', before plunging the knife into his victim. One friend wrote on Twitter: "Naaa man! I cant believe Seydou got stabbed down Oxford st! Only this mornin he was sayin how everythin happens by the will of Allah." Seydou Diarrassouba, 18, was knifed in the heart after a fight broke out in a trainer store as the two groups were on a shoplifting spree on a packed Oxford Street. The victim was a member of the notorious London street gang ABM, which stands for 'All 'Bout Money', and the killer was believed to have been involved with the rival 031 Bloods. Territorial clashes between the two South London gangs have claimed several lives since 2007. The 18 year-old, named online as Seydou, was attacked in broad daylight at a branch of the trainer store Foot Locker while it was full of shoppers. Witnesses said he had been stabbed in the left side of his belly and described seeing his final moments as armed policemen who were the first to the scene tried to revive him. He was treated by paramedics on the pavement outside the shop, just by Bond Street Underground station, but was pronounced dead at 2.30pm. He became the 15th young person to be killed on London's streets this year. A police cordon was set up to keep members of the public away from the crime scene, on Britain's best-know high street on one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
