You know there were and there are a lot of polemics about the blown exhaust system (EBD). Teams blowing their diffusers rely on the throttle being open to keep airflow passing to the diffuser and increase the downforce on it. In this video you can hear how they sound like on different F1 cars. It's really particular listening to this kind of sounds but, IMO, you can get annoyed by this sound. The kingdom of Bahrain is a repressive regime that has jailed and killed citizens who campaign for the reform of its monarchy. Despite continued repression of pro-democracy protests, the leading international sport of Formula One racing will be held in Bahrain this year on 22 April. Amnesty International has issued a statement saying that "state violence against those who oppose the Al Khalifa family rule continues, and in practice, not much has changed in the country since the brutal crackdown on anti-government protesters in February and March 2011". Meanwhile the FIA, the sport's governing body said there was no reason to call the race off, and its president Jean Todt led a fact-finding mission to the Kingdom in November 2011, meeting a large number of decision-makers and opinion formers. However, human rights groups such as Human Rights watch has stated that this is part of a pro-regime lobby and that the decision to go ahead with the Grand Prix gives Bahrain's rulers the opportunity they are seeking to obscure the seriousness of the country's human rights situation.
