Loco in Acapulco - The Four Tops

Loco in Acapulco was a 1988 hit song by The Four Tops. It was written by Phil Collins and Lamont Dozier for the film "Buster" that also starred Phil Collins in the title role. Going loco down in Acapulco, If you stay too long. Yes you'll be going loco down in Acapulco, The magic down there is so strong. Feel the pressure, your back's against the wall. Love is gaining on you, you're just about to fall. If you're afraid to love, afraid to take a chance, You better hide your feelings, get out while you can. 'Cause you'll be going loco down in Acapulco, if you stay too long. Yes youll be going loco down in Acapulco, The magic down there is so strong. You can hear voices pleading through those warm Latin nights. Memories are lost and found, leaving broken hearts all over town. Going loco down in Acapulco, If you stay too long. Yes you'll be going loco down in Acapulco, The magic down there is so strong. You'll be pulling out your hair, drowning in despair, With a whole lot of nothing, on your way to nowhere. Your search for paradise will come to an end When you realize what a fool you've been. You'll be haunted by her face, missing her warm embrace. Memories of loving her, holding her tight every night. Was that the best part of your life? Hearing her voice soft and low, begging you to please, please don't go. Don't go! Don't go! Don't go! - You can hear voices pleading through those warm Latin nights. Memories are lost and found, leaving broken hearts all over town, all over <b>...</b>

Only the sound. This belongs to their writters and singers and recorders and etc and etc That "video" is here solely for entertainment purposes. That's indeed one of my favorite tunes ever. When I posted this video, I thought there wouldn't be many views and I just uploaded it because I thought "this song is very cool and a bunch of people may want to see it" now I'm happy 'cause you bunch of people are a bit more than 1080000. thanks. BY THE WAY... Just a curiosity! The first time I heard it, was in Madonna's "Who's that girl" concert. She sang a few verses and I got me really willing to find the original version. So she taught me both how to like good music and to speak English! thank you too Madonna. lol Lucas.

The Four Tops-It's All In The Game

The Four Tops Classic Golden Oldie hit Many a tear has to fall But it's all in the game All in the wonderful game That we know as love You had words with him And your future's looking dim But these things your heart can rise above Once in a while he won't call But it's all in the game Soon he'll be there by your side With a sweet bouquet And he'll kiss your lips And caress your waiting fingertips And your heart will fly away You had words with him And your future's looking dim But these things your heart can rise above Once in a while he won't call But it's all in the game Soon he'll be there by your side With a sweet bouquet And he'll kiss your lips And caress your waiting fingertips And your heart will fly away
The Four Tops Walk Away Renee

Motown at it's BEST. "Walk Away Renée" is a song made popular by the band The Left Banke in 1966 (single release: July 1966, Smash Records, title printed as "Walk Away Renee"), composed by the group's then 16-year-old keyboard player Michael Brown (real name Michael Lookofsky) and Tony Sansone. Bob Calilli is also credited as a writer, though he didn't actually write any of the lyrics or music - he received credit in exchange for setting up the session in which the writing stage of the song was completed.[citation needed] The song was also a chart hit for the Motown group The Four Tops[1] in 1968. Four Tops - I Believe In You And Me

I believe in you and me I believe that we will be In love eternally As far as I can see You will always be the one For me Oh, yes, you will I believe in dreams again I believe that love will never end And like the river finds the sea I was lost Now I'm free I believe in you and me I will never leave your side I will never hurt your pride When all the chips are down I will always be around Just to be right where you are My love Oh, I love you, girl I will never leave you out I will always let you in To places no one's ever been Deep inside Can't you see I believe in you and me Maybe I'm a fool To feel the way I do But I would play the fool forever Just to be with you forever I believe in miracles Love's a miracle And, baby, you're a dream come true I was lost Now I'm free, girl I believe in you and me I was lost Now I'm free, girl I believe in you and me

The Four Tops JUST ASK THE LONELY - Shivaree -

A classic clip from Motown's finest. Sorry about the TC window, I know I have a clean copy somewhere but right now it is at large. The classic Motown performers always treated every show like it was opening night on Broadway; 110% all the way, and it shows on this 41 year old clip.

Four Tops- Indestructible

Powerful Song, Lyrics: We are friends, we are brothers Always there lookin' out for each other In a world where so many dreams are broken apart But when the world tries to beat us We hang tough, ain't no way they'll defeat us You and I will always survive, together we're strong Heart to heart Any storm we can weather You and I we've become United forever CHORUS: Two hearts that can beat as one There ain't a single thing, we can't overcome We're indestructible (indestructible) We've got the power of love So strong we can generate A wall of solid love Nothing can penetrate We're indestructible There's a power, deep inside us Ain't no one that could ever divide us We won't fall, we'll show 'em all Just what we're made of You and I We're in it together We stand strong through it all United forever (CHORUS) Heart to heart Any storm we can weather You and I we've become Untied forever (CHORUS)

The Four Tops/James Jamerson - Bernadette (Bass playalong)

Just got a new P-Bass, so here's a quick take of James Jamerson's classic line on "Bernadette" by the Four Tops. This is a really fun tune - I'm still sort of finding my voice on the P-Bass (never owned one before) but I'm digging it. It's a Mexican standard P with D'Adarrio flats into an Avalon U5 (no EQ) to a 4-channel mixer and directly into the line in of my MacBook.New transcriptions are also posted on my blog: arcellus.blogspot.com, and there is an archive of my transcriptions at www.arcellussykes.com/archive.html. I also do custom transcription work - visit www.arcellussykes.com/transcriptions.html for details.

Hello Stranger - The Supremes & The Four Tops

Here is another outstanding cover from the third duet album from The Supremes & The Four Tops entitled "Dynamite" from 1971. Aside from Barbara Lewis' 1963 original, I think this version is the best of all the covers ever done of the song. It is musical perfection. Written by: Barbara Lewis Produced by: Bobby Taylor and Frank Wilson Track recorded: May 3, 1971 Additional overdubs, strings and horn sessions recorded in Los Angeles: Dates unknown Levi Stubbs lead vocal recorded: June 5, 1971 & August 17, 1971 Four Tops background vocals recorded: June 9, 1971 Jean Terrell lead vocal recorded: June 10, 1971 Supremes background vocals recorded: June 24, 1971 This version is the best song on the entire LP and one of the best duets the groups did together over the three albums. Motown was foolish not to release this as a single. It screams hit and would have been one had Motown promoted it, but at the time The Supremes and The Four Tops were no longer Motown's top priority. Nonetheless, it still remains an incredible cover. ****No copyright infringement intended****

Walk Away Renee - The Four Tops

The Four Tops had a hit with this in 1968, with Levi Stubbs on lead vocals. Composed by The Left Banke's then 16-year-old keyboard player Michael Brown (real name Michael Lookofsky) and Tony Sansone. And when I see the sign that points one way. The lot we used to pass by every day. Just walk away, Renee. You won't see me follow you back home. The empty sidewalks on my block are not the same. You're not to blame. From deep inside the tears I'm forced to cry. From deep inside the pain that I chose to hide. Just walk away, Renee. You won't see me follow you back home. Now, as the rain beats down upon my weary eyes. For me it cries. Just walk away, Renee. You won't see me follow you back home. Now, as the rain beats down upon my weary eyes. For me, it cries. Your name and mine inside a heart on a wall, Still finds a way to haunt me though they are so small. Just walk away, Renee. You won't see me follow you back home. The empty sidewalks on my block are not the same. You're not to blame.
