Oczywiście oparta o świat stworzony w pierwszym Syndicate. Świat w 2069 roku to w sumie jedna wielka sieć, rządzi nimi wiele korporacji, między innymi Cayman Global, Aspari i Eurocorp. Nasz bohater jest członkiem jednej z nich i zostaje wplątany w intrygę, w której oczywiście musi zginąć wielu ludzi... bo jakżeby inaczej w strzelance? W trakcie gry w Syndicate wykorzystujemy umiejętności, głownie oparte o łamanie zasad otoczenia oraz... hmmm... hacking (?) wszczepionych ludziom chipów. W Syndicate możemy przykładowo zmusić chip naszego przeciwnika, by nasz drogi wróg strzelił sobie w skroń. Cóż... czy Syndicate z 2012 roku będzie hitem i mega udanym remake gry o tym samym tytule z 1993 roku, jednak w formie FPS? Oceńcie sami. Pamiętajcie jednak, że Syndicate z roku 2012 jest strzelanką, pierwowzór był grą strategiczną.
