Fulltone Fulldrive 2 MOSFET - Part 2 Stratocaster

www.ProGuitarShop.com- The Fulltone Fulldrive 2 Mosfet overdrive pedal needs no introduction. This combination boost pedal has been a hit for a number of years now. The Mosfet version features a switchable Mosfet circuit for a fatter sound and more growl. Featuring a Vintage mode for a midrange heavy overdrive and an FM (flat mids) mode for a more transparent overdrive, the Fulltone Fulldrive 2 Mosfet has become an industry standard for guitarists. The Fulltone Fulldrive 2 Mosfet responds equally well with humbuckers or single coils. This smooth as silk overdrive pedal can give you the blues, or scream like a banshee. With the added Boost, the Fulldrive 2 becomes a lead slingin machine as well. For the ultimate in low to mid gain overdrive pedals, check out the Fulltone Fulldrive 2 Mosfet.

Fulltone Plimsoul

Andy here with Proguitarshop.com and today we're checking out the Fulltone Plimsoul Overdrive/Distortion. This simple pedal combines the best of both worlds, the soft clipped tones of a screamer type overdrive and the growl of hard clipping pedals such as the Fulltone OCD. With the Fulltone Plimsoul, you can blend in each stage to create fat, complex overdrive and distortion like you've never heard before. The smooth, bluesy uncompressed overdrive resides in the Plimsoul's sustain knob while the symmetrical clipping of stage 2 tells you how much realistic power tube style distortion it's delivering by a responsive LED. This extremely dynamic pedal cleans up by light picking or your volume knob, not to mention the Fulltone Plimsoul can take anywhere from 9 to 18v for all the headroom and cleanliness you need. Like all the Fulltone products we carry, the Plimsoul Overdrive/Distortion is high quality and true bypass. - proguitarshop.com

Fulltone '70 Fuzz

Fulltone '70 Fuzz A Message from Fulltone - "I have in-hand a bunch of BC108C transistors, so within a couple of weeks you will see the return of the 70 pedal in a small (OCD-sized) housing. These transistors sound outrageous! This model 70-BC will still have the secret-weapon "Mid" knob which will allow you to do something other Fuzzfaces won't let you do....be heard in the mix ;)" Ever played an original FuzzFxxe from around 1970? Hint: not AT ALL the same sound as ones with the same namesake being mass-produced currently) Ours has Two intentionally mismatched (for Harmonic content) Silicon transistors that snarl and spit... not for the meek! If you put the "Fuzz" on 10 you will rip, and you might get all sorts of oscillation and weirdness...but that's Rock. Don't try using it with a wah wah...you can't, and neither could Jimi, without it screaming and howling. You want polite and quiet?...go elsewhere. You want art in a box? Come on in. Housed in a 16 gauge steel box and Powder coated Deep Blue, this pedal is a bit unruly but with some warmth... ideal for older 4 input Marshall amps, it has much more FUZZ than the '69 Pedal and includes a Mid control for extra clarity and cut. I got my hands on Eric Johnson's Blue Fuzzface that he used from "Tones" through "Ah Via Musicom" period (now owned by Ian Moore) and incorporated a few of its tonal secrets into the '70 pedal with staggering sonic results! Fulltone Soul-Bender

Fulltone Soul Bender Fulltone's Soul-Bender is based on the legendary Colorsound and Vox Series III ToneBenders made by Sola-Sound/England in the late '60's that was used by Beck and Page on much of their circa 1968-70 recordings. Equipped with 3 gain-matched germanium transistor for a FAT, searing lead tone, I've improved on the original by adding an internal trimmer allowing you to reshape the distortion from Rich legato sustain to bombastic all-out square fuzz. Fulltone also made the Tone control response and range more usable and much less shrill sounding... Full clockwise is SMOOTH sounding. The Soul-Bender cleans up when you back-off on the guitar's volume control. This pedal has tons of tonal character and even harmonics and of course, true bypass w/ LED is included with every one.

Fulltone Mini Deja Vibe Pedal

From www.proguitarshop.com, The Fulltone Mini Deja Vibe - Vintage Leslie rotating speaker sounds from a pedal! Fulltone Custom Effects are the first to put out an exact copy of the legendary vintage 1960's Uni-vibe. The Mini-Deja' Vibe has that dripping phase / chorused sound that helped make Hendrix's "Machine Gun" such an epic masterpiece! Full Tone has made the Mini Deja Vibe small enough to find a place even on the most crowded of pedalboards. Because the Mini-DV has a unique voltage-doubling circuit, you can use any standard 9-volt adapter or power supply (the FPS-1 is included*). Inside this Vibe pedal the power is boosted up to the original Univibe's 18 volts DC! Features include a mini-toggle switch to choose between Vintage and Modern settings, which allows for warm, original 60's Uni-vibe dirt ("Vintage" setting), or a louder, higher output ("Modern") setting. The Deja' Vibe has gotten a total makeover! Robin Trower said of his Deja'Vibe, "Simply Brilliant. I use it all the time. It's the best of its kind!!" The Photocells: Fulltone Custom Effects is the only company who has gone through the trouble to (let alone can afford to) have the correct glass-covered, hermetically sealed photo cells custom-manufactured. The Bulb: getting the right voltage rating on this is easy, but does size matter? Yes, it does. Don't look at the glass size, look at the filament size (the wire inside the glass)! Fulltone got it right, like no one else has before. This is extremely <b>...</b>

Fulltone Tube Tape Echo TTE

www.ProGuitarShop.com - Fulltone Tube Tape Echo We have the Fulltone Tube Tape Echo in stock ! The Tube Tape Echo is designed to sound like the Market Electronics Tube Echoplex from the 60's, you know, the green one! Sweet and warm repeats with a subtle tape warble that adds a slight chorus effect for extra dimension. Fulltone has completely redesigned this classic unit to maintain a vintage tone without the extra AC noise and tape hiss! Why a Tape Echo you ask? Because no pedal or rackmount, analog or digital delay can reproduce the warm and natural saturation of a tape delay. If you have ever played a healthy Echoplex then you know what we are talking about. Is it noisy or unreliable? Older tape delays had a history of being unreliable and noisy. However, the Fulltone TTE is dead quiet. Full tone has reworked the electronics, the tape path, and the tape cartridge itself for smoother operation and less signal noise. They've also handwired the audio path and use custom made tape heads that will last a lifetime. The Tube Tape Echo will actually produce less noise along with higher quality repeats than most delay pedals. Best of all, you have 3 stereo modes to choose from for an extra wide echo. How much delay time? The FullTone TTE can produce anything from a quick slapback echo to over two full seconds of delay. Featuring a dual speed toggle switch, the user can choose between high and low speeds of operation, which also takes you from a warm vintage tone to a Hi-Fi sound <b>...</b>

Barber Direct Drive vs Fulltone OCD

Noodling around with to fantastic pedals: Barber Direct Drive (w/ mod board) and a Fulltone OCD v.4. The pedals can cross into very similar territory. With the mod board, the Direct Drive is more versatile with optional gain boost and asymmetrical/symmetrical clipping options. However, the OCD is pretty sweet too. The OCD has a slightly cleaner sound and the midrange characteristics are slightly different with these two pedals, but not by a lot. I think the Direct Drive would cut thru better in a live situation. Both pedals have a good amount of compression that really helps to beef up your signal. Great for Marshally stuff. Fulltone GT-500 Distortion/Booster Pedal Demo

www.ToneFactor.com - Discrete FET Hi-Gain Distortion and Overdrive Booster IN ONE BOX. You could think of them as 2 separate pedals..or think of them as stages to be linked together for endless combinations. Hi-Gain side has Volume, Distortion knobs, Bass, Mid, and Highs minipots. Booster Side has Volume, Overdrive knobs, Bass and Highs minipots. (these new hi-Q sealed minipots don't break BTW) Hard clipped distortion (the way most pedals achieve distortion) at one point in a circuit can be cool, but stage after stage of FET (GT-500) is very real, very amplike, has ridiculous amounts of sustain even at low volume, does the great chunky low string rhythm stuff and cleans up incredibly well when you turn down the guitar's volume. The GT500 contains 9 x FET's, 2 Mosfets and 1 x Transistor with no opamps or clipping diodes used. What's special about the EQ? The Hi-Gain side has a discrete Inductor-Driven Midrange circuit....never been done in a pedal before. Yes there's a wah wah inductor inside the pedal that gives the Midrange control its ability to drastically increase or decrease the entire Low Mid, Mid, and Hi-Mid frequencies, to comical proportions. All this is done without any opamps because all of the active 3 Band EQ's I've tried are horrible, killing all harmonics, all excitement, and sounding as sterile as the "EQ" in a Digital Recording Program. Nope, this has 100% discrete matched FET's ;) This Mid control mixed with a strong Bass and Treble control help give the <b>...</b>

The Eleven Rack - Suhr Riot, Fulltone OCD, and BB Preamp Shootout Part 1 of 2

This is a short demo (part 1 of 2) of the BB Preamp, Fulltone OCD, and Suhr Riot distortion pedals and how they compare to one another. I ran each of these pedals into the front of the Eleven Rack (True-Z Input) and cycled through 3 different types of amp models just to illustrate how the pedals don't really define the amp's sound, but really just enhances the existing tone of whatever amp you are playing into. All three of these pedals are outstanding in their own right yet the Suhr Riot for me is a clear winner and it's not just from a sonic standpoint, because the OCD comes real close, but there's a compression or dynamic feel about it that I really love and it's just a smoother gain than the OCD - again, not taking anything away from the OCD! All the amps used the 4x12 classic 30 cab and Ribbon 121 mic (Royer sim) and a little reverb although for some reason the verb was most prominent on the tweed bass amp patch which was not intentional but it is what it is! The BB Preamp is a very flexible pedal too and probably offers the best low gain settings of the three. Anyway - hope you enjoy it and we'll see you next time around!
