Here are two famous songs performed by the great crooner Andy Williams, chosen to illustrate the beauty of glamorous Eva Gabor. Éva Gabor (in Hungarian Gábor Éva) (1919 -- 1995) was a Hungarian-born actress, best known as Lisa Douglas, the wife of Eddie Albert's character Oliver Wendell Douglas, on "Green Acres". She was the sister of Zsa Zsa Gabor and the late Magda Gabor. Éva was the first in her family to emigrate to America. A few of the superstars Eva has been romantically linked with are Frank Sinatra, Tyrone Power, and Merv Griffin. Her first movie role was a bit part in "Forced Landing" (1941) at Paramount Pictures. She acted in movies and on the stage throughout the 1950's. "What is it that the correctional service actually corrects? In my view very little...and...the justice system is completely criminal and it should be studied..." So begins a provocative presentation by trauma and addiction treatment expert, Gabor Maté, MD While working for two decades on Vancouver's Downtown East Side, Gabor saw how the purely medical model of addiction theory fails to take into account the effects of trauma and the biopsychosocial conditions of human beings as they live in relationship with others. Zsa Zsa Gabor (born in 1917) is a Hungarian-born American actress and socialite. She was born Sári Gábor in Budapest, Hungary (then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire). She had two sisters, Magda and Éva, both well-known actresses and socialites. Gabor's mother was of Jewish ancestry and was related to Annette Tillemann, the wife of politician Tom Lantos. Album: Femme fatale (1979) "Atlantic Records signed the guitarist and he recorded FEMME FATALE with a group of studio musicians (mostly from the group Seawind) for his label debut. The album, which features a duet with Chick Corea on the pianist's "Out of the Night", did not appeal to the brass at Atlantic. The tapes were returned to Szabo and his relationship with Atlantic Records was severed. The guitarist lobbied other American companies to release the album, but was unsuccessful until the small Hungarian company Pepita International agreed to release it in Europe in 1981.
