Galadriel's speech and warning

Here Galadriel gives her famous speech to Elrond about the serious dangers of the quest. It shows that things foreseen don't always happen. It was foreseen that the quest would claim Frodo's life, but it did not. Frodo survived and lived :).

Galadriel - 07 - Vampirian Love

Slovak band from Bratislava Album : The Mirror Of Ages (1999) Label : Unknown Territory Lyrics : By full moon, in the darkest hours In my heart, in my house of power I can feel desire of your shade Mystic haze's falling down on me In the circle of the forest trees If I want to live, I need your blood Through an ancient land I'm wondering to you With wind in my hair I'm wondering to my love For a moment, I have seen your face In my mind, I remember that naked body It was bleeding out of wounds I drunk warm blood from her veins She was my cure for all my pain With her love, I can now LIVE! We drunk the blood, each other I felt the change in my heart We were like wolves, wolves in the hunt Then I embraced her And veiled to my cloak When the moon set down We had to disappear... disappear!!!

My 4th video in my LOTR character series. This was my favourite video to make because the music was so fun to work with. The pictures of Elrond, Gandalf and Galadriel with the headings Air, Fire and Water respectively, are a reference to the Elven Rings and their bearers. The music belongs solely to Brand X and is called "Mythos". ©MMIII New Line Cinema Productions, Inc. © The Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and the Return of the King and the name of the characters, events, items and places therein, are trademarks of the Saul Zaentz Company d/b/a Tolkien Enterprises under license to New Line Productions, Inc. The Voice of Galadriel

Lord of the Rings vid with Galadriel and Frodo. Basically the vid deals with Galadriel who can feel and sympathize with Frodo's quest of the one ring. Plus, very much a fickle person with music for Lord of the Rings. Sorry to all those people who make vids with rock/pop etc and no offense, I just really don't like LOTRs vids with that sort of music. Anyway, since LOTR's is based on Anglo-Saxon, and Celtic myths, a Celtic song I feel fits Galadriel and Lord of the Rings very well. Speeded up bits: Yea I speeded up some of the clips. People don't realize how slow the motion is in Lord of the Rings, till you start making fan vids with it. Song: The Voice Album: Celtic Woman Clips: Lord of the Rings Copyright: New Line
Galadriel's Lament

"Galadriel's Lament" Words by JRR Tolkien, music by Marion Zimmer Bradley. Performed by Broceliande, with lead vocal and harp by Margaret Davis. Available on the CD "The Starlit Jewel" from www.flowinglass.com/sjewel.html. LYRICS: I sang of leaves, of leaves of gold, and leaves of gold there grew: Of wind I sang, a wind there came and in the branches blew. Beyond the Sun, beyond the Moon, the foam was on the Sea, And by the strand of Ilmarin there grew a golden Tree. Beneath the stars of Ever-eve in Eldamar it shone, In Eldamar beside the walls of Elven Tirion. There long the golden leaves have grown upon the branching years, While here beyond the Sundering Seas now fall the Elven-tears. O Lórien! The Winter comes, the bare and leafless Day; The leaves are falling in the stream, the River flows away. O Lórien! Too long I have dwelt upon this Hither Shore And in a fading crown have twined the golden elanor. But if of ships I now should sing, what ship would come to me, What ship would bear me ever back across so wide a Sea? Some of these images are used with permission from www.freefotos.com

Galadriel - From Ashes & Dust

Music video from Galadriel's '' Empty Mirrors of Oblivion '' - compilation / boxset Lyrics: Awake from tears of your silent eyes Awake from sins and burn down my life Awake as a lover from ashes and dust Awake and taste the night and my sighs You are the fairy of woods and forlorn souls I want to satisfy my lips by your blood Like thousand arctic crystals I see your pale face Resign your body into my bloody arms... tonight... I wake from nowhere, from the ashes and the dust I wake from spaces, from nascent screaming night Like a freezing passion burns your look in silence Your real body is just land of darkness Awake from dark naked in the night Awake as phoenix with blood deep inside ------ Band has connections to: Attack of Rage, Cast-Away, Craniotomy, Darkside, Dysanchely, King, Majster Kat and Orkrist.

Galadriel's Song

I recorded this song years ago with a most primitive microphone on a very old computer. Please excuse the mediocre quality. The long years have passed like swift draughts of the sweet mead in lofty halls beyond the West, beneath the blue vaults of Varda wherein the stars tremble in the song of her voice, holy and queenly. Who now shall refill the cup for me? For now the Kindler, Varda, the Queen of the Stars, from Mount Everwhite has uplifted her hands like clouds, and all paths are drowned deep in shadow; and out of a grey country darkness lies on the foaming waves between us, and mist covers the jewels of Calacirya for ever. Bob Catley - The End Of Summer (Galadriel`s Theme)

The End of the Summer (Galadriel's Theme) Ive searched the earth to find you Ill break the chains that bind you Wash away your tears with rain This life's array astounds you Moonlight cascades around you Light betrays your angel face As the eyes dry and whither The blindness lingers on But I still see your light now your gone Just like the sun, setting on my shoulder Galadriel is the embers of the night And there could be no other The shadows run and the days grow colder Galadriel is the tender autumn light She is the end of summer I praise the day I found you Ill build my world around you Time can wait beyond the pain Ill take the strain that drowns you Heartbreak, the fray surrounds you Miles away, the signs remain You and I cross the river We stride the ebb and flow For the secrets mean more than you know Just like the sun, setting on my shoulder Galadriel is the embers of the night And there could be no other The shadows run and the days grow colder Galadriel is the tender autumn light She is the end of summer

Galadriel Stineman and James Francis Ginty from Surrogates L

Its gonna get sweaty in here. From Surrogates its James Francis Ginty, and from Cartoon Networks new live action movie Ben 10 Alien Swarm, its Galadriel Stineman. But first, we play an interactive game with the chatroom called You Supply the Punchline Emmy Edition. Then, we bring out the vivacious and charming Galadriel Stineman who talks about her new movie on Cartoon Network, her first acting role in Junkyard Dog (JunkyardDogTheMovie), answers tons of questions, shows us how to draw a cartoon monkey, and finally, hula hooped while doing the alphabet backwards what a gamer! Up next is the trash-talkingand hyper literateJames Francis Ginty who you can see in the scifi movie Surrogates. He plays a trivia game Ballerina or Robot?, fails horrifically at EVIL Russians movie trivia, talks about getting yelled at (and then complimented) by Harrison Ford, and shows us how to do a Pirouette! LOTR The Phial of Galadriel

"It's a trap!" said Sam, and he laid his hand upon the hilt of his sword; and as he did so, he thought of the darkness of the barrow whence it came. ... Then as he stood, darkness about him and a blackness of despair and anger in his heart. it seemed to him that he saw a light: a light in his mind, almost unbearably bright at first, as a sun-ray to the eyes of one long hidden in a windowless pit. Then the light became colour: green, gold, silver, white. Far off, as in a little picture drawn by elven-fingers he saw the Lady Galadriel standing on the grass in Lórien, and gifts were in her hands. And you, Ring-bearer, he heard her say, remote but clear, for you I have prepared this. ... "Master, master!" cried Sam, and the life and urgency came back into his voice. "The Lady's gift! The star-glass! A light to you in dark places, she said it was to be. The star-glass!" "The star-glass?" muttered Frodo, as one answering out of sleep, hardly comprehending. "Why yes! Why had I forgotten it? A light when all other lights go out! And now indeed light alone can help us." LOTR Bk IV Shelob's Lair - No copyright infringement intended
Christopher Lee and Galadriel´s Messages

´Thus it was what I came to Caras Galadhorn and found you but lately gone. I tarried in the ageless time of that land where days bring healing not decay. Healing I found, and I was clothed in white. Counsel I gave and counsel took. Thence by strange roads I came, and messages I bring to some of you. To Aragorn I was bidden to say this: Where now are the Dúnedain, Elessar, Elessar? Why do thy kinsfolk wander afar? Near is the hour when the Lost should come forth, And the Grey Company ride from the North. But dark is the path appointed for thee: The Dead watch the road that leads to the Sea. To Legolas she sent this word: Legolas Greenleaf long under tree In joy thou hast lived. Beware of the Sea! If thou hearest the cry of the gull on the shore, Thy heart shall then rest in the forest no more. Legolas/Arwen/Haldir/Galadriel - Elves of LOTR

This vid is primarily dedicated to these elves of LOTR, Legolas, Arwen, Haldir & Galadriel. Elves are beautiful, angelic creatures, who are immortal & remain unwearied with age. This means that they age very slowly. However, they can be slain, or die of grief and weariness. The lives of Elves endures as the world endures. Lovely beings. I just wish they were for real:) Enjoy viewing!

Galadriel calls to Celeborn- Mo Ghile Mear

READ FIRST! According to the books, contrary to the movies (which I love, btw), Galadriel left Middle-Earth and Celeborn stayed behind for a time. This song is what Galadriel is singing to Celeborn from across the sea, telling him it is time for him to join her. As I was searching through my Celtic Woman collection to find a song that would fit one of the stories of LOTR I came across this song and it was a perfect fit for Galadriel and Celeborn. I hope youre able to see it. The beginning shows Celeborn and Galadriel together as they were in Lothlorien before she left, but when the singing starts it is Galadriel singing to Celeborn from Valinor. The drum duet and the fiddle solo show two different aspects of Galadriel's character and during the choir segments scenes of Elven life are shown. The last few slides show them in all their glory in Valinor, reunited once more. The photos and wallpapers are from two different sites, www.arwen-undomiel.com and www.theargonath.cc . They are not mine and I did not make them. The song is from a paid for CD and no copyright infringement intended. Artist: Celtic Woman Album: A New Journey Song: Mo Ghile Mear I hope you enjoy and please rate and comment :-)
Namárië or Galadriel's Lament in Lórien

This is a recitation of the longest piece of Quenya in the Lord of the Rings. I was fortunate, back in The Day, to hear a recording of JRR Tolkien reciting it and I've followed his pronunciation as I remember it. However, the word emphases are mine, based on their meanings regardless of where they fell in the lines. Suggestions for improvement are welcome.

This is an orchestral arrangement of the penultimate song in the set 'Fourteen Tolkien Songs for Children's Voices'. The text of the poem to which this music was originally a setting can be found on pages 388-9 of 'The Fellowship of the Ring', being Volume 1 of 'The Lord of the Rings' by JRR Tolkien, published by Allen and Unwin, 1954. The poem beings with the words: 'I sang of leaves, of leaves of gold, and leaves of gold there grew...' And ends: 'But if of ships I now should sing, what ship would come to me, What ship would bear me ever back across so wide a Sea?' I have unlocked all the bonuses on the LOTR machine, but don't really record that many of them. Sometimes they can be long and drawn out, and you don't always win a ton. The bonus is started with 5 free spins, and after each spin a wild is added to a reel. If you get the phial on the fifth reel, you are awarded another spin, which will add yet another wild to the reels. This was the best win I've had on this bonus so have a look. :)
