The Purdue University Varsity Glee Club accepted an invitation from the Super Bowl Host Committee to perform in Super Bowl Village on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in Indianapolis, IN. The Glee Club performed the National Anthem on the Verizon Stage before performing this set from their repertoire on the Pepsi Stage.

I received the opportunity on a band trip to sing with the Annapolis US Naval Academy Glee Club, through participating with a Band Trip with Heritage Festivals. The Glee Club extended the invitation to each group participating in the festival and my band director chose myself, Joey Abis, and another young man by the name of Daniel Gilligan. We sang the classic arrangement of Battle Hymn of The Republic by Peter J. Wilhousky. This concert was the Glee clubs spring concert on April 16th, 2010
