When a school bus driver in Milton, Wash. lost consciousness on the way to school Monday morning, two seventh-grade boys jumped to action, KING 5 News reported. Follow @msnbc_us Footage from the bus's surveillance camera shows the driver suddenly seizing, his hands flailing and his eyes bulging as they rolled back into his head. Within a minute, a student noticed, pointed at the driver and jumped up to grab the wheel. The student then started pushing on the driver's chest in an attempt to resuscitate him. The 13-year-old later told KING that he has some driving experience because his mother allows him to drive down the driveway of their home. Trailer Choir closed out Celebrity Week on CMT's "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader" when their episode aired September 24th. Hosted by Jeff Foxworthy, the show pits celebrities against a group of fifth graders, quizzing them on such topics as geography and social studies. Trailer Choir played for St Jude Children's Hospital, an organization the group has supported for several years.

Kamaile Academy was paid a very exciting visit from a local Hawaii band's lead singer 5/12/2010. Roman, a senior in high school, sings many popular songs played frequently on the radio. He came from the windward side to visit and sing for Kamaile's students. This song is called "Cool Down."

The intro to the 1996 version of JumpStart Adventures 4th Grade: Haunted Island. I love this game! When I was a kid, it did a fantastic job at both educating me and scaring the CRAP out of me. It was awesome. Unfortunately, this version of the game was recently replaced with a more kid friendly version. The plot was that you, the player, was a fourth grader who was absent from school one day. On that day the rest of the player's class had a substitute teacher, Ms. Grunkle. She was a witch who turned all of the other 13 kids into monsters and locked them up in the attic of her house. Her house was on an island called Haunted Island, and the player had to go there to rescue them. Helping the player was a purple bat named Flap. The player reversed the spells Ms. Grunkle cast on the kids by completing challenges given by a gypsy named Madame Pomreeda. By completing the challenges, the player was given items that belonged to the kids. Once four of a kid's items were found, they would be transformed back to normal. The player also needed to collect 25 keys to open the doors in Ms. Grunkle's house in order to reach the attic. This game and its characters are NOT mine. They are (c) Knowledge Adventure, Inc. A class of fourth graders from the Emily Dickinson School in Bozeman, Mont. has helped NASA choose new names for its twin lunar orbiting spacecraft GRAIL-A and --B. The new names -- Ebb and Flow were announced during a media event at NASA headquarters in Washington. The GRAIL mission will enable scientists to better understand the moon's gravitational field as well as what goes on below its surface. The data gathered is expected to increase our knowledge about how Earth and its rocky neighbors in the inner solar system developed into the diverse worlds we see today.
