Trinidad All Stars "Doh Back Back" arr. by Leon "Smooth" Edwards (1984)

All stars panorama performance of Sparrow's "Doh Back Back" still gives me chills. This exciting performance is one of several classic performances from Panorama 1984, and is one of my all time favorites. Notice a still youthful Mighty Sparrow dancing the flag.

Renegades "Toco Band" arr. by Jit Samaroo

Panorama Finals 1999. The combined musical genius of two of our musical heros that are no longer on the Panorama scene. Panorama misses them both. We certainly hope that Jit returns to the panorama scene someday , refreshed and renewed. Kitch, of course, has permanently left the building..

Fonclaire Steel orchestra- Kitch's " Pan Here to Stay" ( Panorama Finals 1986)

Panorama Finals 1986.Kitch's classic arranged by Ken"Professor" Philmore. One of my favorite arrangements by Ken"Professor" Philmore, this reminds me of the "South Band Sound" of the nineteen sixties and seventies as arranged by the likes of Lennox "Bobby" Mohammed, Steve Achaiba and the Professor himself. . Back then the bands had regional sounds, before they started using the same arrangers and tuners, as they do today. This arrangement earned third place in the competition.
