Keep watching. Hey guys-I'm Joslyn Davis for ClevverTV with a quick look at what some of the hottest male names in the music biz wore on the red carpet at the AMAs. Music events usually tend to bring out edgier, more unique trends, so let's take a look! American Idol winner Kris Allen wore one of most unique suits we've ever seen. The grey pinstripe set and black shirt combo would've been great alone-but with added black ribbing around the edges of the jacket, some critics are questioning the look. Kris' look really could go either way when it comes to the critics. Then there's Seth Green, who you guys all remember from the Austin Powers movie series. He also chose an edgier look. He wore and all black look accented with a red and black tie, as well as red and black shoes. Not sure about this look either-you guys be the judges. Another AI alum Chris Daughtry rocked a great leather jacket-which is very rocknroll and very "on trend." Leather jackets, particularly motorcycle jackets are here to stay for both the guys and the girls. Two of the best looks from the event were those worn by the Adam Lambert and the guys from the Black Eyed Peas. Stone Free: A Tribute to Jimi Hendrix is a 1993 album recorded by various artists in tribute to Jimi Hendrix. The artists were drawn from many genres of popular music. Contributors include his classic rock contemporaries Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck, blues man Buddy Guy, classical violinist Nigel Kennedy, alternative pop/rock bands Belly and Spin Doctors, hip hop artists PM Dawn, among others. According to the liner notes, the "artists were encouraged to not only record one of their own personal favorites but to also place their stamp on Jimi's songs." Several artists recorded radically different interpretations, particularly, PM Dawn, The Cure, Nigel Kennedy and Pat Metheny. Some artists, on the other hand, recorded versions that were rather similar to the originals. The band MACC is made up of Mike McCready (guitarist from Pearl Jam), Jeff Ament (bassist from Pearl Jam), Matt Cameron (drummer for Soundgarden and later for Pearl Jam), and Chris Cornell (singer of Soundgarden and later Audioslave). The cover of "Hey Baby (Land of the New Rising Sun)" is their only known recording. All four members of this group had previously worked together on the Temple of the Dog project.
