I really wished I could have made this video longer but at the time I only had a 15 minute limit. Now I have longer than 15 minutes and will try to make better and more detailed videos. I built this system using the tonymacx86 instructions. It is a combination of iBoot and Multibeast. Essentially iBoot is a boot disc (containing Chameleon Bootloader RC5) that makes it possible to get the Mac OSX Install DVD to run on your machine by loading the necessary kext (aka drivers). Once the Mac OSX is installed on your drive it is still not bootable and that's why you still need to load the iBoot disc in order to see the hard drive with Mac OS on it. Multibeast is a program that contains the Chameleon Bootloader. It installs the bootloader to the hard drive with the Mac Os on it making it bootable on its own so you don't need the iBoot disc anymore. Multibeast has many kext(drivers) files needed to get the rest of your hardware working because the Chameleon Bootloader alone may not have everything you need like lan, sound, graphics enablers. You really have to know your hardware like what chipset your audio is using or lan card. If you pick and choose different kexts and it doesnt work then choose another one but remember that you have to re-pick the other settings as well. Here is the link : tonymacx86.blogspot.com

Download and burn iAtkos S3 v2. 2. Boot from this DVD. 3. Partition your hard drive or delete a partition. The 10.6.5 update includes a new Kernel (Darwin 10.5.0) which doesn't match the current custom SleepEnabler.kext, so will cause a kernel panic during startup. This is easily fixed, as SleepEnabler.kext can be passed an instruction through the com.apple.Boot.plist Kernel Flags section to set its declared version to match the kernel. Here's my com.apple.Boot.plist from /Extra: www.mediafire.com add these lines to you com.apple.Boot.plist if you do not have them and repair permissions via kext utility and restart. In this video I show you how I setup my hackintosh build. Before I started to film, I installed Windows 7 on the 2nd partition of my ssd drive first and then I installed Snow Leopard Mac OSx on the 1st partition. On the setup I got some small problems - but in the end I could solve them all :) Everything(Audio, Graphics inc. the game Left for Dead 2, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Mouse, Keyboard) is working! I also cut the longest waiting times of installation setups in this video. All in all it took me about 40mins to setup all drivers for my hackintosh!! I recently decided it was time to upgrade my computer. Considering my old computer was completely fried, this decision came quite easily. This decision was made even easier when I realized that I can build a machine that runs OSX just as well as a Mac Pro that retails starting at $2499.99. Oh, did I mention that a Mac Pro equivalent can be assembled for less than half the cost?! This is OSx86 BASICS tutorial, it's meant for absolute beginners who wish to enter the "Hackintosh" world. For advanced info refer to insanelymac(dot)com and OSx86Wiki. There are other ways to install retail OS X on non Apple hardware. This tutorial should be good enough for average tech geek to install OSX on non Apple PC. Please, refer to OSx86 Wiki and other OSx86 forums for additional info and CHECK IF YOUR HARDWARE IS COMPATIBLE with this distro or OSx86 in general in HCL (Hardware Compatibility List). Main components that must be compatible are Motherboard chipset and CPU. You can download additional drivers, but there is no guarantee they exist, especially if you use non common hardware devices. This distro is primarily aimed at custom built desktop PCs, but it does work with laptops and branded PCs if they are compatible, although you have to be lucky to have the right hardware. In this video, I'm gonna show you how to install Mac OSX 10.5.6 Leopard on PC and also dual boot with Microsoft Windows 7 x64 build 7077. A lot of people keep asking me about how to dual boot windows and leopard. Here is the answer, Once you have installed leopard with iPC installation DVD you should be able to see and select your Windows (if you have installed windows previously) or Leopard in Darwin Bootloader menu as in my video.
