Ayumi Hamasaki is known as the Empress of Pop, and her face has graced the cover of the Japanese fashion magazine, Popteen more times than we can count. We decided to give Ayumi fans a makeup tutorial based on one of those cover shots (seen here: 1love.files.wordpress.com ). In part 1, Sean Conklin, lead makeup artist for Make-Up Designory begins by base-matching a foundation color, and then sets the foundation with Buttercream Loose Powder (shop.mudshop.com ). I have finally gotten round to another Ayumi Hamasaki look guys. Sorry it has taken me like MONTHS! I have used this opportunity to put several different requests into one video. I uploaded this last night but youtube was being poo and deleted it so I had to re-upload with different music. The requests I put altogether is: 1. An Ayumi Hamasaki inspired look 2. Everyday doll eyes 3. A cute look to wear for a date 4. A simple look using only one main colour (and a highlight colour) I adore Ayumi Hamasaki's makeup. It is so toned down and pure. It is a clean canvas. Without even using large amounts of colour and glitter- her eyes pop and look bright and fresh.
