There are probably lots of good gun safety videos out there (I didn't check) but here's mine. I feel compelled to add it to my listings for those just learning about weapons handling. And even the most experienced gun handlers call become careless and do something stupid. Never take a gun for granted and treat it with great respect (not fear just respect). Some of my views, like teaching your young children about gun safety, might be controversial but I've proven them over many years. Satisfy their curiosity, train them, set and enforce safety expectations and you'll have no problems. Everyone in your house should be trained thoroughly in the gun's use and safe handling. Coupled with the standard safe handling and storage principles, this will help you avoid a regretful and most likely tragic accidental discharge.

Boys will always play guns and it's Dad's job to introduce him to the world of good guys and bad guys. It's all in good fun and man is it cute. TD is getting back into the swing of things with his shooting skillsets. He long ago reached JEDI level in gun safety and proficiency but like all of us, it's a perishable skill that must be practiced. In this Basic Edit vid, I instruct my son on some markmanship principles as I try to make best use of the expensive ammo for the table top review. "Suspect" is frustrated at first and, like most teenagers, does not welcome advice. Imagine that. I like having other crew and family on camera here and I really wanted him to connect so I could use the footage in the reviews. That creates some pressure on both of us and time was limited to even get the camera shots that day. The intent of this compilation is to be able to show students some relative examples while discussing firearm safety and responsibility.
