Hanne (oikealta nimeltään Eija Hannele Höynälä, myöhemmin Klötzner) syntyi 6. heinäkuuta 1954 Aavasaksalla yhdeksänlapsisen perheen toiseksi nuorimmaiseksi. Lastenohjaajan koulutuksen saanut nuori nainen muutti vuonna 1974 Tampereelle. Musikaalisen nuoren naisen elämä muuttui kertaheitolla, kun ystävättären poikaystävä keksi lähettää Hannen tietämättä nauhoja Toivo Kärjelle. Näillä nauhoilla Hanne lauleskeli itseään kitaralla säestäen. Toivo Kärki kutsui Hannen koelauluun ja vuonna 1975 syntyi levytyssopimus. Samalla alkoi myös päätoiminen keikkailu Hätävara -orkesterin kanssa. Ensimmäinen single "Kun rakastaa"/"Nään täysikuun" julkaistiin vielä nimellä Eija Höynälä. Sitten keksittiin toisesta ristimänimestä taiteilijanimi Hanne. Levytyksiä alkoi syntyä tiuhaan tahtiin: "Hasta manana", "Silloin" ja "Ding-a-dong" ja "Kundi viitostieltä", mutta ne eivät vielä avanneet taivaita. Vuonna 1976 löytyi vihdoin se laulu, jota Hanne oli etsinyt. Hän sai levytettäväkseen Antti Hyvärisen säveltämän ja Vexi Salmen sanoittaman reippaan, hieman venäläissävytteisen humpan "Verushka". Laulu oli tehty alunperin vuoden 1976 Syksyn Sävel -kilpailua varten, mutta jostain syystä se ei läpäissytkään esiraateja. Tämä takaisku ei kuitenkaan estänyt laulua nousemasta koko kansan hitistä, sillä tuota pikaa "Verushka" soi kaikkialla. The dance music scene frequently uses African influenced music and rhythm. Sampling vocals and percussions of African origin often help DJs to achieve huge success with their tracks. Meanwhile the political situation throughout the world is reaching an ever-growing imbalance from which the poorest are made to suffer. Especially in Africa, children have it very hard. They are growing up in an environment that offers poor resources and are exposed to a life of inhuman circumstances. No education, no medical care and worst of all, not enough to eat. In order to support these children and to aid their fight against poverty, the charity project It Began In Africa was set up by Juliet Sikora and Tube & Berger.
