Hard Rock Cafe Multi-Touch, Multi-user wall, Las Vegas
18'x4' 6000 (well, almost, it is 3x1920 projectors) pixel multi-user, multi-touch display. This is the Rock Wall at the Hard Rock Cafe in Vegas, possibly the most technologically advanced restaurant in the world. This display wall can accommodate up to 6 users at once or can just be used by one, to browse the entire inventory of Hard Rock photo and video memorabilia in real time, and at full resolution. Most of the imagery is around 4K, but some goes up to 6K, so the whole display becomes one image, allowing for extremely fast and "deep" zooming capabilities. As multiple users join the experience, they are dynamically given a "workspace" in which they can share in the experience. The audio system was provided by TechnoMedia Solutions, and allows for truly localized audio for each user to watch videos or hear music, while not interfering with other users. We pull the content from the Hard Rock website, and use a central CMS, so that it is always accurate and up to date. We worked with Vertigo to integrate this piece.

Singer and actress JoJo came to Detroit, Michigan on Sunday, October 30th, 2011 to perform at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Detroit to support a charity event for the Hard Rock called Pinktober. She did a 25 minute acoustic set, and afterwards she met everyone that came out to see her. In this clip she sings the following, in this order: She started the show with her 2004 debut single, "Leave (Get Out)". She continued with her new single "Disaster" which was followed by a cover of Amy Winehouse's "You Know I'm No Good." Since she was in Detroit, she also threw in a short medley of Aaliyah's singles "Are You That Somebody?" and "One In A Million." Next up she sang another new track called "Jumping Trains" which is also the title track to her upcoming third studio album. She finished the show with the first single that was released from her second album, "Too Little, Too Late." Filming her show for 25 minutes completely drained the blood out of my arms, so I hope someone out there really enjoys this footage!!
