Hitler's Henchmen - The Executioner - Heinrich Himmler

please visit www.DOCUFANS.com and c1ick an ad to support the site "Hitler's Henchmen" is a six-part series that portrays the men who aided Adolf Hitler in his rise to power and serviced the infernal machinery of the Third Reich. The Nuremberg Trials play an important role here: in a historical first, the International War Crimes Tribunal passed judgment on leading Nazi paladins for their unparalleled atrocities while exposing to the world the infamy of the Hitler regime and its leaders. ZDF uses newly discovered archive material and interviews with surviving family members and Nazi insiders to draw historical psychograms of Hitler's closest aides. Conceived as a sequel to our six-part series "Hitler," "Hitler's Henchmen" offers in-depth personal and political profiles of six men who became architects of the destruction of Europe. Portraits of the men who carried out Hitler's plans: ZDF's sequel about the men who consolidated Hitler's reign and turned his plans into action. They wove the complicities and plots without which Hitler could have never perpetrated the crime of the century. They helped to sway the judges and the bureaucrats, the armed forces and the police, the scientists and the industrialists, the students and their teachers to the regime's ways of thinking. What kind of people were they? What inspired them to serve a corrupt administration with such enthusiasm and devotion? How did their careers unfold and their fates end? Arleen Auger: Bist Du Bei Mir (Gottfried Heinrich Stölzel*)

* The encyclopedia clarifies why this work should be attributed to Gottfried Heinrich Stölzel rather than to Johann Sebastian Bach. Admirers of Arleen and Lucia Popp will forgive me for detailing some of the parallels between them: Both were born in 1939, one in California, one in Slovakia. Both were beautiful ladies with wonderful voices and techniques. Both sang "Queen of the Night" early in their careers before developing wide repertoires, including opera, recital and Oratorio. Both worked extensively with Irwin Gage as their piano accompanist and made many recordings with him. Arleen performed in front of one of the biggest audiences ever. The live TV pictures of her Exultate Jubilate at Prince Andrew's wedding in 1986 were watched by an estimated 700 million. Both died all too young, within months of each other in 1993 at virtually the same age -- both victims of brain tumor.

Heinrich Himmler: Anatomy of a Mass Murderer

Born into a Bavarian bourgeois family, Heinrich Himmler became the driving force behind the indescribable crimes that made the Nazi regime so unique in modern history. An early henchman of Hitler's, Himmler turned a small gang of thugs into a monstrous pseudo-religious order and widely feared instrument of terror: the SS. As a compliant servant to his Fuhrer, Himmler controlled an economic empire in which hundreds of thousands of slave workers were exploited and extermination camps murdered millions. Using rare archival materials and interviews, this film biography shows how and why Himmler became a monster of history.

Gary Gold analysis of Heinrich Brüssow

In this www.rugbyiq.com video blog, assistant Springbok coach Gary Gold analyses the techniques - with the use of Sportscode - of how Heinrich Brüssow, the fiery openside flanker for the Springboks, makes his judgments at the breakdown when performing his highly skilled art of turning over opposition ball at the breakdown. In this piece, Gold shows why Brüssow's techniques, while lethal, are perfectly legal, even in spite of there being a far stronger drive by referees to police the tackler's legality...
