This is the install video for my HID Projectors that i ordered from www.FuturevisionHID.com. I have had HID's before but it was time for some projectors. It took a little bit of work but it wasnt too bad. It actually took me longer to separate the lens from the housing then it did to install the projector. The housings i am using are NOT STOCK. They are "diamond clear" so they allow the projector to shine through without being "diffused". After aiming these things, and taking a short run around my building, they seem very well. ok...so the difference is that i can actually see at night now with my car, the factory housings were such crap, all fogged and cracked up and moisture filled and just totally trashed from wearing out over the years, and the halogen bulbs even with the new housings were only so good, so i finaly got my 8000k xenon headlights. now the road is lit up like daytime. well worth the lil bit of money it cost me. this is without the fog lights in yet, the bulbs that came for those were too long so ive sent those back and just waiting on the shorter ones to come in becuase the grand prix fog light housings are really short. and yes the video is a tad out of focus, my cam keeps doing that lately cant quite figure out why, the battery was kinda low tho so im gonna see if maybe that had something to do with it. also...if you wanna see just how much of a difference these lights make... go to my youtube video here: www.youtube.com and compare my lights in that video to my lights in this video, in that old video i think flashlights being held out the windows woulda worked better.

Xenon-Vision Bi-Xenon HID Install
Here are a few things to keep in mind: 1. There is NO need to disable the Daytime Running Light (DRL) module if you have the Bi-Xenon HID kit. The reason being that the DRLs will run off the low beam and will not flicker as I initially thought. If you have the non-Bi-Xenon (no HID hi-beam), then you WILL have to disable the DRLs (from what I understand). 2. If you happened to have disable the DRLs, it is likely that your interior dome light will not work, as was my experience. No idea why the DRL module is connected to the dome light but I'm not a Toyota engineer. 3. There are two things that look like grounding wires in the kit ... they actually are not. They are connected to the battery terminals. The wire coming from the two fuses go to the POSITIVE terminal while the wire coming off the control unit go to the NEGATIVE terminal. I unscrewed the nut that helps tighten the clamp around the battery and then placed the wire in between the clamp and the nut. 4. The clips only fit one way except for the one on the ballast. You will see in the video how they should connect but the red wire should go to the POSITIVE terminal. 5. There is a metal bar in the front of the car with holes in it. Run the wiring through that to ensure that the wires don't melt on the radiator or get caught in the fan (that would be bad news!). 6. Lay your wires out to get a sense of how things connect together. 7. It is normal to have one of the original headlight wiring harness not connected. All in <b>...</b>

How to change your Prius HID bulb in 10 minutes (part 1)
Helpful? Please give me a thumb's up. I don't know why Toyota charges so much for this. It took me 10 minutes to change my own 2008 Prius HID headlamp bulb with one hand (left hand, no less -- videotaping with the other). Camera work is a little spotty, but I did my best to show all the detail so you can do your own headlight replacement too. Good luck!

4300K Xtreme HID Projector Headlights
This is a video of my 2002 Grand Prix showing how bright my new 4300K HID lights look. I have 4300K HID's in the Spyder Auto Projector headlights and 4300K HID's in my Hella Angel Eye Fog lights as well. I'm not a fan of the blue look of 6000K and up HID's so I went with the brightest white 4300K color. I am happy with the bright white output, it really lights up the road nicely. You can also see my Heads up Display on the windshield, that is my favorite option I have in my Grand Prix. It displays your speed and signals on the windshield as your driving.
