This was a new type of video for me. I tryed to make it a bit different from the others, and tryed to use more features of Sony Vegas. (Don't know much and you basically just have to teach yourself.) However, if anyone has a question as to how I did anything in this vid, just ask. I made this vid in Sony Vegas 7.0, so if anyone has that and wants to know, I should be able to explain it to you. I realise that there is quite a change in music styles between the intro and the actual fighting of the monsters, which may not suit too much, but hopefully you won't mind too much. Also, the trance/techno type music that I am using now is a lot less likely to be removed for copyright reasons. Music: X-Ray Dog - Gothic Power DJ Splash - This is My Life DJ Splash - Bass is Kicking Infinite Dimensions - Krater ________________________________________________________________________________ Some notes on each of the monsters I soloed: King Black Dragon (Level 276) - The KBD is very easy to solo, and not having an anti-dragon shield doesn't make too much of a different really. As long as you have protect from mage and an anti-fire breath potion, it is just as good. I could get around 5 kills in a trip of KBD soloing. Chaos Elemental (Level 305) - I'd never been to the Chaos Elemental before this vid, but I found it ridiculously easy. With protect from mage on, you are hardly hit at all. It is more annoying that difficult really, as all the spells do are teleport you away from it, or <b>...</b>

This is a video demonstrating Spectral Echo skill with a high level Destroyer in the game Torchlight. In game location is floor 97 of the Shadow Vault, aka the Endless Dungeon with monster levels of 106 in Very Hard Difficulty. Destroyer character in action just gains experience level 100 during the gameplay video. Character in game has been played without cheats and with completely purist equipment (no heirlooms and no equipment transferred from any other character), although minor custom made mods made by myself have been implemented for better gameplay. Major benefit from these is the 5 minute spell duration increases, but in any other way the game balance has been unaffected. Im currently balancing several of my gameplay mods for public release, and I will be releasing them soon in the official Torchlight forums. As for the skill itself, it seems like Spectral Echo isn't actually all that far from Devastate. With right set of skills and somewhat balanced equipment, Spectral Echo actually surpasses Devastate with the unique benefits of the skill what it gets from magical enchantments. Pros: - Spectral Echo gets life & mana leech affects from your equipment. - Spectral Echo benefits from any weapon attack speed affects (either basic weapon speed or + % to swing speed enchantments). - You can use Aura skills (like Entropic Aura & Aura of Thorns) with Spectral Echo. Cons: - Needs more precise manual targeting than Devastate. - Has slightly lower damage than Devastate <b>...</b>

This area is located on Corellia at -2248, 2706, which is a high level planet but all you need to be able to camp this area, is your ship. If you are a low level you will have to suicide yourself to get past the mobs but once you are behind them they won't aggro you, if you're careful and walk near the wall. This has been tested at level30; I can't personally confirm that they don't aggro lower than that but I expect they won't. What makes this area so great is that it has 2 security chests that have an aprox 8minute respawn timer as well as being near a slicing node which requires a min lvl of 295 to harvest. Each chest drops anything between 2000 to 4000 credits (it may be higher but I haven't witnessed anything higher than 4000) and also gives out lvl45+ green armour and Commendations. Also the slicing node averages out at around 1500 credits on top of all of that. If you plan on vendoring the greens and don't feel like moving, simply queue for a Warzone and use the vendor at the start to completely clear out your bags then leave to continue farming. For higher levels that have stuff like Overload Potions, Iron/Steel Titans, Ancient Curses at their disposal, it should be a fairly easy fight. Nomad is level 699 and is pretty safe to fight (if you die you appear outside with your gravestone very close by). Since you can only fight the Nomad once (if you kill him) it's difficult to come up with a perfect solution for killing it, but hopefully the following may help. -Food- I strongly recommend using Saradomin Brews, it is possible to kill him with food, but you'll most likely need a lot of it. There is a benefit to using regular food over brews, in that your boosted stats won't get lowered, but obviously you get less overall hp from your supplies. -Familiars- High level summoners, I highly recommend using an iron or steel titan, the special attacks do a lot of damage and should speed up the fight significantly. If you find you're still running out of supplies, take a BoB first, then once that is empty, dismiss it and summon your titan. If you're mid level summoning, try using a War Tortoise full of brews, then a good fighting familiar for when your <b>...</b>

The PhD Flopper is an awesome must-have perk in the new Ascension map! Once I found out about the dolphin dive shock wave, I had to try it out, and it looks like I'll definitely be incorporating it into my high level run for this map. Given what I've seen so far, I think 50 and beyond is easily possible on solo for this map. I did this on two player last night too, and it was still working out. Here's just a sample of the loop and what the PhD Flopper shockwave will do! I'll try to get a high level run completed and edited soon, but I had to share this because I've seen so many messages on the forums asking about the PhD Flopper and what it does.. and it's too great of a perk to go un-used! :) Look for a level 50 run in the near future. :)
