This is a great workout to get started with at home if you don't have a gym membership. And I will sometimes do this workout when I don't have time to go to the gym, or when I'm traveling and don't have gym access. Here's the workout: SIDE TO SIDE PUSHUPS -- 10 REPS. Move your hands wide apart as you go down, and close together when you reach the top of the pushup. Alternate sides, so that you are traveling side to side as you do your pushups. DUMBBELL FLYS -- 10 REPS. Move the dumbbells up and down in a CIRCULAR motion, not a PRESSING motion like a bench pres. Keep your arms slightly bent. Isolate your chest as much as possible -- you should feel your chest muscles squeezing together as you do this, and minimal tricep involvement. BENT ARM SIDE LATERAL -- 10 REPS. Keep your arms bent at a 90 degree angle. Raise your arms upwards and to the side. You should feel this in your deltoid (shoulder) muscles primarily. If you are advanced, do this explosively like I do in the video. If you're a beginner, use slower, more strict form and isolate your shoulders more. Be careful with too much back involvement if you're first starting off (it may lead to injury if you're not conditioned to explosive weight lifting moves). BENT OVER SIDE LATERAL -- 10 REPS. Killer Home Chest Workout


Here is a great chest workout you can do at home with a cheap dumbbell set. Big gyms are nice but when you can get a killer workout at home without the overhead of getting to and from the gym. In this chest workout we are going to do pushups, then with no rest immediately do flys, then with no rest immediately do dumbbell press. Make sure and use a much lighter weight than you usually would on the flys and dumbbell press because after the pushups you wont have much left in you. After doing this set of three exercises, wait 2-5 minutes and do it again. Do 5-8 sets like this and you will be sore the next day. As with all dumbbell exercises,form is key if you want to maximize your muscle building efforts and minimize the chance of injury. Don't use too much weight, if you can't do the exercise slowly then you need to go lighter. Count aloud "one onethousand, two onethousand, three onethousand" on the way up and the way down, if you cant do this on this exercise then you are using too much weight. The reason this exercise method maximizes your muscle growth is because it confines the motion to the muscle you are trying to work out, if your body squirms, swings, and kicks, all you are doing is taking the focus away from the muscle you are trying to exercise. HOME WORKOUT THAT REALLY WORKS


here is a few exercises you can do at home to increase your strength endurance and cardiovascular or in short cardio. These routines will focus on muscle fitness in your butt, biceps, triceps, quads or legs and hamstrings. you can do this routine two or three times a week. As your ability to execute this workout gets easier, increase the reps and weight accordingly. most of the drills should be done in reps of 10-12 and some 20 depending on the exercise. there are also forearm strengthening tutorials included in this youtube video. As a certified personal trainer i can give my word that these routines actually work and along with a great diet will have you very fit, very fast. I know we get tired of good old fashion crunches so there is also a new abs exercise included.

Round two: One arm dumbbell get up followed by 3 one-arm/one-leg rows (5 minutes, the take a 30 second break) 3. Round three (do each exercise for 30 seconds and do these 4 workouts 2 times): Dumbbell piston, squat thrusts, dumbbell high pull, narrow grip pushups 4. Round four (30 seconds each exercise, repeat these 3 twice): Step back lunge, dumbbell Y-press, rotational curls 5. Round five (30 seconds for these 3 movements): dumbbell prone row, dumbbell clean, dumbbell press, then combine all 3 of the movements into one and do for 2 minutes. This workout takes about 30 minutes and consists of five rounds that last for five minutes. I suggest using some type of stop watch to make sure you're doing each exercise for the appropriate time and taking the right amount of break between. Work hard and don't let the lighter weights deceive you. This is a good workout that you can do every other day or every third day. I hope you enjoy! You can establish good muscle tone and and start strengthening your body even if your a beginner. You don't need any weights or equipment for this workout -- you can do it at home with only your body weight. Here's the workout breakdown: SKYSCRAPER (10 REPS EACH SIDE) -- Get into a push up position and keep your body tight and straight like a board. Turn to each side, look at the ceiling, and reach your hands towards it. Repeat 10 reps on each side. BENT OVER CIRCLES (25 REPS EACH DIRECTION) -- Bend over with your knees slightly bent, (tip: make sure your knees don't go pass your toes, must keep your chest out) put your arms straight out to the side and make small circles, 25 each side non stop. DUMBBELL SWING W/ JUMP SQUATS (10 REPS)-- Grab a dumbbell or anything that is weighted, squat until your legs are bent at a 90 degree angle. Keep good posture (look at the ceiling if you need to) and put your weight on your heels. Make a small jump as you come up while swinging the dumbbell upwards. JUMPING LUNGES (10 REPS EACH SIDE) -- Take a giant step backwards and lunge downwards until both legs are at a 90 degree angle. Now touch your foot that is in front with your opposite hand. Here's how to do the workout: MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS - 30 SECONDS: Start in the push-up position, and step your feet upwards towards your hands. To make it more challenging, you can shift your weight forward so you are carrying more with your chest and upper body. Be sure to keep your back flat as you do this, and don't let your butt go too far up in the air. YOGA PLANK - 30 SECONDS:: Start on all fours, with your hips elevated up in the air. Hold this position, being sure to keep your hips up and not allowing your back to slouch. KNEE TO ELBOW PLANK -- 30 SECONDS: Lift your butt up slightly in the air from the push-up position to start. Take your left knee, and touch it to your left elbow. Repeat this for the other leg.
