We were originally going to take the body off the original chassis, and put it on the 1985 Chevrolet 1 ton truck chassis, but changed our minds.. We're instead going to leave the body on the original frame rails, and change out all the running with the '85 Chevy truck.. We're changing out the rear end with the narrow "cab & chassis" truck 4/11 rear end, and keeping the original '37 springs and hangers, as they were fine.. We did have to cut the back part of the frame rails, and bring them in about 1 3/4 inches on each side, to make it work.. These "cab and Chassis" rear ends are a lot narrower than the dually rear ends, and is the exact width we needed. The 1987 and earlier Chevrolet truck front ends, actually unbolt, and the whole unit rolls out.. So that makes an easy swap.. We hoped that we could simply roll the front end under our old chassis, make brackets, and bolt it up, but that made the bus sit way too high in the front.. In order to drop the bus down about 6 inches in the front, we cut the front frame section out, and added a new box frame section on top of it, and then we boxed the plates on it for additional strength.. It was easier and a whole lot cheaper, than buying a dropped spindle kit, and shorter coil springs.. Plus we couldn't have gotten 6 inches doing it that way.. We are keeping the complete front end purely stock, with the steering box, steering arms, torsion bar, etc., in the original positions.. That way there should be no problems with bump <b>...</b>

This is the pull up, chin up, and body weight row bar system that my Dad and I put together out of pipe and angle iron. The side bar is adjustable on height to make the body weight rows easier or harder. This unit is a one stop "work up to a pull up" machine allow for every step along the way to build the muscles you need to reach a pull up. Also if you can't do a pull up it weighs about 200lb by itself so you can always just haul it around :-) The row bar can also be used for doing things like incline or decline push ups as well. Build entirely out of scrap from my dad's work shop. If you would be interested in one we can quote you out a price, be forewarned that pipe is not cheap these days, but we would love to build more for the right buyer.

CAMP BOW WOW PROVIDES "EXTREME MAKEOVER" TO WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA HUMANE SOCIETY Grant for Remodeling and Operational Assistance December 13, 2010 -- Camp Bow Wow, the nation's largest pet services company announces the winner of its "On Our Way Home Project," a philanthropic initiative through its non-profit organization, the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation, aimed at providing assistance to shelters in need across the country. The Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, located in Pittsburgh, PA, will be the recipient of the program's inaugural $50000 grant. Taking in more than 13000 animals a year in both 2008 and 2009, the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society is an "open door shelter," turning away zero of the animals that are brought to the facility and has a 42% live release rate. The shelter has over 600 volunteers, 55 full-time employees, 13 part-time staff members and an adoption process foundation in place. This shelter was chosen as the recipient of the grant based on an internal franchisee-wide voting process and funded entirely from within the Camp Bow Wow franchise system, comprised of clients, franchise owners, vendors and corporate team members. As the shelter has an "open-door" system, it has been plagued with over-population of animals and lack of funding, due to donors typically allocating money and time to "no-kill" shelters.
