HTC Titan II Review

HTC Titan II Review I loved using the old Titan. It was big and beautiful, and helped develop my love of massive screens. Best of all, it convinced me that Windows Phone has a chance. There have been a lot of great handsets since the first Titan launched, however — Galaxy Note, HTC One X, Lumia 900 — meaning the Titan II is going up against a lot of big-name competition. Now that I've spent time with the sequel — five months removed from the original, mind you — is it enough to stand out from the crowd? HTC Titan 2 vs. Titan 1

HTC Titan 2 vs. Titan 1 Some of you may remember that I'm an advocate of the first Titan, even made it my daily driver. Now faced with the new iteration, I couldn't wait to check out a quick comp. Verdict? Very nice indeed. The II's soft-touch plastic feels really nice in the hand, the photo-snapping chops are robust (at a gigantic 16 megapixels, no less) — in fact it's a huge improvement over the first one — and that LTE... Well, let me put it this way: I uploaded the video comparison of the two devices using the Titan II's 4G connection, and the 104 MP video file zoomed in there in three minutes flat. HTC Titan for AT&T Unboxing - Biggest Windows Phone!

HTC Titan for AT&T Unboxing - Biggest Windows Phone! We've been anticipating the release of the HTC Titan for quite some time, and at long last it's in the TechnoBuffalo office. It wasn't just the massive 4.7-inch screen, beautiful build quality or 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor that attracted us to the device; it's Windows Phone that really made it stand out. Although the OS is still finding its feet, we are huge fans of the experience Microsoft has created with Mango -- and we're not the only ones who are impressed. Sit back and enjoy our unboxing, and stay tuned for further coverage of the Titan. We know we're looking forward to spending some quality time with this beast of a phone. As of now, it definitely has daily driver potential. HTC Titan II Review

For more details, check out our web site: www.phonearena.com It was not too long ago that we were introduced to the massive 4.7" display on the HTC Titan and we came away overall impressed, though not blown away by the device. HTC and AT&T obviously read our review and were heartbroken, so they rushed an upgraded product to market in hopes of pleasing us. Just over four months after the release of the Titan, we now have the Titan II. The Titan II should probably be named the Titan 4G, because the only real difference between the two is the inclusion of LTE and the impressive bump from an 8MP camera to 16MP. Are these changes enough to appease us? Read on to find out...

HTC Titan II Unboxing & Hands On It's only been about five months since the first HTC Titan, but things have changed greatly for the phone series in that time. Most notably, the rear camera got a big upgrade to a whopping 16 megapixels, and from the images we saw at CES, it does result in some stunning photos. Perhaps the most annoying change, however, is that there is no longer a removable battery. HTC Titan 2 Review - BWOne.com

bwone.com Twitter: twitter.com Pinterest: pinterest.com Google+: plus.google.com RSS Feed: bwone.com Facebook: facebook.com Empire Avenue: empireavenue.com The HTC Titan 2 is a sequel to the very recently release HTC Titan I . The Titan II kept the same concept as the first Titan with its large display and premium design but adds a 16 megapixel camera and 4G LTE. Is this worth upgrade your Titan 1 to? Good Quality Build And Large Display But Low Resolution When you first pick up the Titan 2 you will notice its solid feel and lightness for having such a large screen. The phone has a nice mix of solid plastic and aluminum with soft touch back. The battery is non-removable and the only back plate that comes off is at the bottom where the SIM card slot is location. You want to be careful of removing the plate when the phone is on as it will turn the phone on immediately when it's removed. The Titian 2 comes with a 4.7 inch Super LCD display. While its large size is good for viewing content its held back by the locked resolution of 800 x 480 which is Windows Phone requirement. Now don't get me wrong the screen does look good but you will notice the loss of sharpness and details when watching video or looking at pictures. Apps also have pixilation in them since the can't take advantage of the screen size and also when view web pages you will need to zoom in to read text and zooming in all the way the text is just not as sharp as you would want it to be. HTC Titan II (AT&T) Windows Phone smartphone review

MobileBurn.com - The HTC Titan II is the successor to the original Titan released last November. It is largely the same as the older model, save for two key differences: a new 16 megapixel camera and support for AT&T's 4G LTE network. The Titan II's 4.7-inch Super LCD screen is nice, but its WVGA resolution is lacking. The large size of the display does make the phone hard to use with one hard, as well. The Titan II is powered by a single-core, 1.5GHz processor, and it does a good job of moving around the Windows Phone 7.5 Metro interface. Native apps open swiftly, but third-party apps still take too long to open. The new camera is impressive, with good performance in both good and poor lighting, and the 720p video captured is smooth. The Titan II is available now from AT&T for $199.99 with a new two-year contract. More info: www.mobileburn.com
