With the permanent root, the folks over at XDA were able to port over the HTC Sense 2.2 Rom to the T-Mobile G2. The Rom works flawlessly. I'm amazed at how good HTC Sense is! I will not be making a tutorial on how to root your G2 because tomorrow the application Visionary will get updated with a 1 click perm-root method for the G2. This is VR Kingdom B1.1.2 ROM all credits go to the developers that made this possible! This is the best build of Sense 3.0 out there! Works great with only a few down sides. 4G is sorta spotty Can't adjust screen brightness manually Sometimes Lock screen will glitch Other then that it's a great daily driver I plan to run this for awhile, it feels very smooth and quick. Truly made me fall in love with my EVO for the second time. Side note- When you first flash the this it will be pretty glitchy so go into rom manager and fix your permissions reboot your EVO and it should settle down. Any problems or questions? Read our full HTC Vivid Review: bit.ly Now that the HTC Vivid has been updated with Sense 3.6 and Ice Cream Sandwich, we are returning with a new video to take a closer look at the changes therein. Overall, the device seems to be snappier and the slight changes to Sense are for the better on all fronts. We would have liked to see a more unified ICS interface or even Sense 4.0, but HTC has made it very clear they do not want to confuse or alienate their existing customer base.

This video uses the HTC Sensation and a custom ROM (Virtuous S4X) in order to offer a preview of the new camera app found in HTC Sense 4.0 and the upcoming HTC One series of Android Phones. Please note that this video uses a pre-release (ie. non final) test ROM that was originally designed for the HTC One X and has been ported to the HTC Sensation by the Virtuous team. As such, this video should not be considered a review of the final camera app or the new HTC One phones (which aren't on the market at the time of writing). This video was made at the request of a group of forum member, who wanted to see a bit more of the app than current promotional videos show. They also wanted to see all of the menus and options - along with a bit of an explanation. Some people may find that boring, but you have been warned :-) This video will undoubtedly contain a few errors - some of which I realised while recording (I'll add pop-up comments as I find them), and some which I may have overlooked.
