Cool tribute to Michael Hutchence (INXS). Love that Dude! Gone too soon:-( The 'stuck moment' will always pass. Saw him (INXS) at the cozy Riviera Theatre in Chicago with my brother, Dave. On the drive back to Wisconsin a 200+lb 10pt Buck (Deer) darted into our vehicle causing over $4k damage. I had to euthanize and drag it off the highway. I miss Michael and his Music!! PS I believe Hutch died of autoerotic asphyxiation. His daughter, Tiger in time should know that he did NOT intentionally leave her. His close friends described him as a daring individual who often cheated death. Damn it Hutch!! only 37...

"Dogs In Space" Directed by Richard Lowenstein. Dogs in Space is a 1986 Australian film set in the "little band scene" in Melbourne in 1978. It was directed by Richard Lowenstein and starred Michael Hutchence as Sam, the drug-addled frontman of the fictitious band from which the film takes its name. The soundtrack album was released on Chase Records in February 1987 (CLPX14), featuring several tracks from reformed "little bands" and other contemporary tracks of the time. The album came in two versions: a censored version in a white sleeve with the band name "Thrush & the Cunts" bowdlerised to "Thrush and the C**ts" and possibly-offensive song vocal tracks removed, and an "R"-rated version in a black sleeve with all band names in full, movie dialogue between the songs and all vocal tracks in full. Chase Records went out of business soon after and, despite much effort, the record has never been reissued and has remained unavailable since. It is now a collector's item, commanding high prices. It was only available on LP and cassette and was issued on CD - at least the censored version appeared on discount bins in shopping malls in Lisbon, Portugal, somewhere around 1996-1997. The Hutchence tracks were his first official solo recordings and his first with Ollie Olsen. They would later collaborate on the Max Q recordings. Dennis Patterson was a dear friend of Kelland Hutchence, Michael Hutchence's dad. Dennis takes us to Michael's favourite beach in Sydney, Milk Beach, and tells us a lovely story of the day they scattered Michael's ashes on Sydney Harbour. At the end we all placed purple Iris's into the ocean, as a mark of respect for "The Loved One" .. A lovely day, and many thanks to Dennis Patterson, a beautiful soul.

Song is "One" by U2 and "Never Tear Us Apart" by INXS live at U2's Sydney concert in 1998...Bono's touching goodbye to his friend in a gut-wrenching performance, complete with Michael's voice being broadcast over the stadium's speakers as the last song, with the crowd singing along..Bono to this day still pays tribute to his friend..may we all not forget Michael.. I am not 100% happy with the snares dynamics so will probably do a remix and reduce the compression on the aux snare track. It's a great learning experience recording and mixing, it makes you a much better recording artist knowing what a producer has to work with. I am still tweaking...
