Dal Makhani Recipe - Indian Vegetarian food- Indian Food Recipes

Ingredients- 1 cup black gram dal 1/2 cup kidney beans 250gm chana dal 1 tsp cumin seeds 2-4 cups water 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 2 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp garam masala 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 6-7 garlic pods 1 inch ginger 2 tomatoes 2 onions 2 green chillies Few coriander leaves 2 tbsp beaten cream 2 tbsp ghee or butter Salt to taste Preparation- Melt the butter. Add cumin seeds,onions,tomatoes,garlic,ginger,green chilli and mix well. Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,coriander powder,garam masala and mix well. Add the 3 dals-urad dal, chana dal,rajma and mix well. Add water,salt and let it cook for a few minutes. Add cream. Garnish with coriander leaves and cream.

Ingredients- 200 gms paneer 2 small onions chopped 1inch ginger 3-4 garlic pods 2-3 green chillies 1/2 tsp white pepper powder 1 tsp red chilli powder 3/4 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp garam masala powder 3-4 tbsp cream 1/4 cup dry fruits (cashew nuts,raisins,makhane) 1/2 cup milk 8-10 tbsp vegetable oil salt to taste Preparation- Heat the oil. Add paneer and fry till golden brown . Fry dry fruits in oil. Make a paste of ginger,garlic and onions and fry it into the oil, now add red chilli powder,white pepper,turmeric,garam masala,salt and mix well. Add milk. Add roasted dry fruits and fried paneer, let it cook for a minute. Add cream. Garnish with cream and coriander leaves. Serve hot.

Ingredients- 1tbsp achari masala 1tsp corn flour 1/2 cup yoghurt 1cup water 100 gm paneer in cubes 1onion chopped 2 tbsp oil salt to taste coriander leaves chopped Preparation- Heat the oil, add the onions and mix well,now make a paste with the yoghurt and achari masala in a bowl. Now mix corn flour in water in a different bowl. Add the paneer in the pan and stir fry it, add the paste of the yogurt and achari masala, mix well. Ingredients- 400gm paneer 1 cup yoghurt, beaten well ½ cup coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tbsp mint leaves finely chopped 1 inch cinnamon stick 2-3 bay leaves 2-3 green cardamoms& cloves each 1 tsp cumin powder ½ tsp garam masala 2 tbsp coriander powder 2-3 tbsp ghee / butter Salt to taste 2 cups water 1 tbsp black peppercorns powdered coarsely 2 tbsp fresh cream To make paste: 3 onions sliced 3 garlic pods 1 inch ginger chopped 2 green chillies Preparation- Firstly to make a paste cut the onions and fry them till golden brown,3 garlic pods,ginger and 2-3 green chillies and blend them in a mixer. A smooth paste is made. Now add the butter and heat it up, add cinnamon,cloves, cardamom,bay leaves and fry them, now add the paste which we made earlier and mix it well. Add the yoghurt,coriander powder,cumin powder,salt and mix it well Now add water, paneer,mint,coriander leaves, black pepper,fresh cream and garam masala.
