The Freestyle football European Championships 2012 will gather in warsaw, poland, the 16 best freestyle footballers of all europe. Before qualifying to this one of a kind event, 40 players have been pre-selected to participate to a video competition. Those 40 freestylers come from the following countries Denmark, UK, Germany, Hungary, Russia, France, Poland, Italy, Sweden, Spain, Ukraine, Luxembourg, Belgium, Norway, Slovakia. Since 2003 the Thanks Jimi Festival has been an annual event paying tribute to Jimi Hendrix taking place in the historic center of Wroclaw Guitar City, Poland. In 2006 this gathering established a new world record for the "largest guitar orchestra" with 1581 guitarists playing "Hey Joe" together. This year the Thanks Jimi Festival is transforming into the center of an annual 1st of May "World Guitar Day" and is expanding significantly with satellite events happening simultaneously around the world as well as private individuals and smaller groups being able to also take part in real time via the web. 2007 only looks to be bigger than last year's record breaker.
