Otterbox Defender Case for iPad (Review)
Weighing in at 12 ounces, the Otterbox Defender offers three layers of protection for Apple's iPad. This thing is beefy and probably the closest the iPad can get to being drop/toddler proof. The case features a high-impact polycarbonate, two-piece shell which is then encased in a silicone skin. The third layer of protection is the included screen protector. The case also includes an external plastic hardshell that could be consider yet another layer. That hardshell is removable and acts as a stand for tabletop viewing. Like the Commuter case, the Defender also offers a removable dock door to docking with iPad accessories such as Apple's iPad Dock and iPad Keyboard Dock. The Jacket iPad Case from STM (Review)
The Jacket iPad case from STM ($24.95 from RadTech) is a promising carrying bag for the iPad. The case is pretty slim and features a large pocket for documents and accessories, a second zippered deep pocket, and a third pocket intended for an iPhone or iPod. It has a detachable shoulder strap and a single hand strap. The zippered main compartment is lined with a plush microfiber interior. Style-wise, the case has blue accents on the zippers, stitched logo, and interior. Overall the case seem of good quality and is attractively priced. The Omniverse iPad case from Uniea appears to be a well protected case for your iPad. The exterior has a bit of unusual material feel that may take some getting used to. It's listed as being silk fiber and has a loose quilted feel which reminds us of a sleeping bag. The interior is pretty interesting with memory foam protection. That's a first for us in an iPad case and should provide snug protection. It comes equipped with a handle tote and two zippers. This is a very unique case as it has a built in smart cover/smartcover. This allows you to lock the screen when you close it, it doubles as a stand, and it protects the iPad 2's screen. This leather case is also different from many other leather iPad 2 cases considering the fact that you can use the iPad 2 without removing it from the actual case. I personally think that a good case needs to be usable while wearing it, and this case really does a good job at that. Also, this case has a soft backing to it that makes it much easier to hold, and makes it feel much better in the hands. As always, you can find my full review on this case soon.

It feels very durable while also being nice and light. It has a very nice feature which allows the iPad to "stand up" in certain ways so it is easier to type, and watch movies. The Kraken has some pretty unique styling in a rugged design. The name is also pretty cool, but we'll resist uttering the Internet mime. The case has a polycarbonate shell with a silicone skin. The combo offers good grip and shock protection. The case also has an integrated screen shield, and protectors for all ports and controls. Perhaps most unique is the shape. While certainly adding size to the overall iPad, the design provides a nice grip area and we think a pretty cool look. It's definitely different.
