How you connect your film to the theme is entirely up to you, be creative with it! Just make sure you could explain the connection if required to. I made these flip books for my nieces using iStopMotion and my iSight camera (laptop videocam). I set it up so that the software took a picture every 30 seconds, and made it 15 fps. After you are finished with the video, iStopMotion has a feature where you can save your file as a PDF. It automatically numbers the pages of the flip book and sets up the page to be cut. I haven't messed around with claymation before, but after getting this program I can see myself doing it more. It's just too bad the software doesn't recognize my Sony HD video camera.
