To avoid being hit by the catapult and earn tokens, you have to switch between four styles of defending yourself with a special shield. This is alot like prayer switching at Jad. Right before you get to jad, turn on auto retaliate. This will make sure that you run in the right directioin toward jad so that you are able to see his attacks. You should also turn the sound all the way up so that you can hear his magic attack. If you hear a heavy thud, that means he is using his ranged attack, though it will probably be to late to switch by the time you hear it. If you here a sound that sounds like someone has just died while using the retribution prayer(the red thing that does damage to other people), then he has just used his magic attack and you should protect from mage.
