JAMEL COMEDY CLUB IS BACK IN LONDON! Teasing, mocking, singing, improvising, acting and reacting, incredibly funny happenings, dry wit, absurd humour, satire... It's engaging et vraiment drole! The Jamel Comedy Club is a French stand-up comedy troupe led by top comic and actor Jamel Debbouze. UK audiences will be familiar with Jamel Debbouze as the actor who received the coveted Prix d'interpretation masculine at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival for his part in Indigenes (Days of Glory). In 'Amelie' he played Lucien and performed the lead role as 'Andre' in Luc Besson's 'Angel A'. The Jamel Comedy Club comedians are the darlings of French stand-up comedy and in France they play to packed theatres throughout the year. They appeared for the first time on the London stage in June 2009. The event was produced and promoted by Enchanted Tunes at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire. Tickets were sold out and it was a massive success. In August 2010 the troupe had its first sell-out show at the prestigious Comedy Store in Piccadilly. Now they are back, on Monday 1st November at the Comedy Store, featuring Bun-Hay, Malik, D'Jal and Redouanne. 'Le Jamel Comedy Club' is a must see event for any French speaking lover of comedy. Located only 2 minutes walk from Piccadilly or Leicester Square underground stations, the Comedy Store is the Mecca for stand-up comedians worldwide. Please note this is a 100% French speaking show!!! THE COMEDY STORE, 1A Oxendon Street, London SW1Y 4EE Tube: PICCADILLY ...
