Here is a brief description of the "fix". I was told not to fire 5.56 ammo because "the ACR was not designed for this". Needless to say, I was completely baffled and not at all happy with this response. I did fire off 200 rounds of .223 Remington without any problems, however, as soon as I went back to 5.56 NATO it started to misfeed again.

This still was purchased to make essential oils using steam vapor. Besides working in emergency medicine I am trained as an acupuncturist and manufacture a wide variety of herbal medicinal products. The still was custom made by Anthony at Rainier Distilling and it is a beautiful and functional piece of handmade craftsmanship. Anthony responded promptly to my inquiries and did an excellent job. This still can be used to make ethanol with the proper permitting but I am ONLY using it to make essential oils with water steam vapor. At some point in the future I will obtain the necessary permits and will begin making herbal absolutes.

Brief overview of the KTM 300 xc two-stroke.

Went to the gunsmith and we went through the rifle. Immediately afterward I fired off 100 rounds without a single misfeed. Two days later I went out to the range and fired off 180 more and had multiple failures to extract. It is obviously short cycling and this is causing it to overheat as well. I called Bushmaster customer service and they e-mailed me a shipping label so that I can send it in for repair. I will continue to post videos monitoring the progress.

This horse is being "sold" as "broke", "safe to ride" and staying at the trainers where he was learning "Dressage" and "the Parelli Method". The very first day he broke free and bolted into the pasture when I tried put his saddle on. It took 45 minutes to put this halter on three days ago. This horse weighs 2200 pounds and will not do anything he does not want to do. Just because a horse has been ridden does not make it broke or safe. This is after two hours of training with Brandy,

Test footage from GoPro Hero HD on my KTM 300xc in the New Mexico Desert. Was following somebody else's tracks and got lost. Ended up on a knife edge ridge with 80 foot drop-offs to either side. Had to take it nice and slow because I was a long way from the truck, I was by myself and it was very cold.

Had multiple failures to extract the spent brass resulting in misfeeds, failure to feed double feeds, stovepipes and jams. Have somewhere between 1500 to 2000 rounds through this so far. Likely dirt or a bad extractor spring.

The ACR is Fixed!!! Neutered is more like it! I was told by the gunsmith at Bushmaster not to fire 5.56 because "It's not designed for it". In the week since I have gotten it back I have fired 1100 rounds and continued to have malfunctions.

The Rio Santa Cruz is a small creek that runs in the spring and is rated Class VI by the locals, and Class V by everybody else who swims it, looses gear in it, or ends up walking back to the put-in. In this video the creek is running at a medium level. It is shallow, boney, and great practice for those kayakers who aspire to step it up a notch to something a little tougher like the Embudo or the Pueblo de Taos.

My son and I went camping in a remote wilderness area in Arizona. Canyon Creek is part of the Salt River drainage and it flows year round. Our campsite was 17 miles off the nearest paved road and in several areas the road is very rough making a high-clearance vehicle necessary. At one point I got the FJ cruiser stuck in some soft sand at the bottom of a wash and had to dig it out. We spent almost four days at this camp site hanging out with the dogs, reading and playing in the river.

Yesterday this horse would not allow his right side to be touched in any manner. This problem arises when people only handle a horse on the left because "you mount a horse on the left". Horse brains are essentially divided and knowing something on the left does not mean the horse knows it on the right. A horse should handle stress or pressure on both sides of their body equally. You never know when you will have to mount from the right because of a sloping bank on the trail, a right ankle injury, ect. My Quarter Horse can be mounted from the front, back, and either side.
