Che Guevara is considered by many to be a hero and savior of the people, but in this video we take a look at his darker, more sinister side. Ernesto Guevara, or, Che Guevara as we know him was born not on June 14th 1928 as his birth certificate states, but the previous month, May 14th 1928. His parents had his certificate date changed as they weren't married when Ernesto was conceived so they hid this fact to protect themselves from criticism. In 1948 Che the entered the University of Buenos Aires to study medicine. In 1950 he decided to substitute his college pursuits with two motorcycle trips through the rural areas of Northern Argentina and most of South America. These excursions ended up vastly changing his view of politics, himself, and the world around him. After he returned to Argentina he completed the rest of his college studies and received his medical degree in June 1953. After graduation he set out from Argentina again, which began his new stage in life as a fighter and leader in the Cuban revolution. Contrary to those that sport Che shirts, he wasn't fighting for cultural change, but for a traditional Marxist Communists revolution. He didn't care about personal freedoms and rights, in fact Che went as far to say that he wanted "Individualism to disappear from the nation" and that <b>...</b>

Nikola Tesla was born on July 10th 1856, in the territory of modern day Croatia to his two Serbian parents. Tesla grew up into bright inquisitive, yet eccentric child, who found himself fascinated by the world around him. Tesla once tried to fly by jumping off the roof of a barn while holding on to an umbrella. He devised a bug powered motor using Junebugs, but had to abort his experiment after a friend decided to eat some of the bugs (Tesla thought this was gross). He once attempted to generate electricity by rubbing two cats together, which resulted in two very mad cats and a scratched up Tesla. On June 6th, 1884, Tesla arrived in the United States. He was hired by Thomas Edison to do basic electrical engineering, but moved up to re-designing the direct current generators that ran Edison's business. Edison offered Tesla $50000, or about $1.1 million in today's currency to make these improvements. After completing this assignment, Tesla asked about the payment for his work. Edison didn't pay out the money. He claimed that he wasn't serious about the payment, that Tesla didn't "understand American humor". Tesla eventually left Edison's company and partnered with George Westinghouse in 1888 to commercialize his system of alternating current (AC). Some of the jokes were taken from an article by Marc Russel which I shouldn't have done (I was writing in a haste, and the error of that didn't occur to me). ----- Audie Murphy was born in Kingston, Hunt County, TX. He grew up on a farm near Greenville, TX, and dropped out of school in the 5th grade to help support his family by plowing and picking cotton. Audie had always dreamed of joining the military, and after the attack on Pearl Harbor he tried to enlist, but was rejected as he was underage. In June of 1942 after his 17th birthday his sister "adjusted" his birth date so that he seemed to be 18, giving him the legal ability to enlist. He was turned down again and probably laughed at by the Marines and the US Army paratroopers because of his short 5.5 inch height and for being a meager 110 lbs, both of which were under the minimum weight and height requirements for the military. He was eventually accepted and sent to basic training where he passed out during a drill. His company commander attempted to have him transferred to a cook and baker's school, but Murphy insisted on becoming a combat soldier. He accepted in, and after rigorous training was shipped to Casablanca, Morocco, and then Sicily. While in Italy he was promoted to corporal for his shooting skills and contracted malaria which he had for <b>...</b>

I was shocked that I never had this idea, so I went outside and tried it myself, with a few improvements. I took off the arrow fletches to keep it from spinning so much (the feathers at the end). I used a wide angle lens. I shot it with the camera facing two directions. I used frame interpolation in the faux slow motion shot, so it is a bit smoother.

This was done really quickly. Outside of filming, the FX part was done in under an hour. Everything was done in 2D, no 3D FX were added. I'll probably try it again, this time in 3D, with a bullet. It was a fun test, the first time I tried heat waves with the displacement map.
