JICA 青年海外協力隊【H22-4次隊】駒ヶ根訓練所 派遣前訓練♬ジャガイモ先輩「我ら協力隊仲間」 青年海外協力隊【H22-4次隊】の駒ヶ根訓練所での派遣前訓練の様子です。駒ヶ根の豊かな自然の中で、６５日間の訓練を行います。訓練では、語学、安全管理、任国事情等について学び、様々な自主講座や委員会、イベントの企画・運営等も隊員たちが自主的に行っています。様々な年代の人が一緒に生活をし、お互い助け合いながら任国での活動に向けての準備を行っています。 This video shows the training scene of Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (H22-4th team) before being dispatched to their host countries at Komagane Training Center. The 65 days training was held in Komagane city, Nagano prefecture, in the nature's bounty. During the training, volunteers learned language, host country's affairs, safe management, and so on. Also many projects, workshops, committees and events were run by the trainees on a voluntary basis. Different generations lived together and helped each other to prepare for their volunteer activities in their host countries. JICA and Sony For the Next Generation in Ghana 2009
From June 24 to July 3 2009, The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Sony Corporation jointly implemented "JICA and Sony For the Next Generation in Ghana 2009," a Public Private Partnership project aiming to raise awareness of the HIV/AIDS issues that form an integral part of the UN's Millennium Development Goals. As part of this project, Sony brought its latest high resolution projection system (a Blu-Ray player, a 200-inch giant screen, a projector, an audio mixer and an audio amplifier) to the Project for HIV and AIDS Prevention through Education (HAPE project) sites. The JICA-supported HAPE project aims to reduce HIV prevalence among young people by focusing on prevention through reduction of high-risk behavior. It is being implemented in collaboration with organizations such as the Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) from October 2005 to September 2009 in 181 communities across seven cities in the Eastern and Ashanti Regions of Ghana. At the project sites, Sony conducted public viewing events for the people of the local communities. The screenings were of football matches, including live coverage of the FIFA Confederations Cup 2009 and matches featuring Ghana from the "2006 FIFA World Cup. Earth Day + 530 (GOMI ZERO) in Bangladesh ------------------------------------------------------------- Towards a clean and green world Organized by: JICA, KOICA and Earth Club As inhabitants of the Earth, we are responsible for how we treat the Earth. The Earth feeds us, it takes care of us. But do we take care of it? No, we don't. Instead we pollute the air, the water and the land; we degrade ecosystems and we deplete natural resources. We cause thousands and thousands of species to be either extinct or endangered. We treat the Earth as if we own it. Now the Earth is in peril and it needs our united effort to save it from our own hands. Thus to spread awareness and to raise a sense of environmental consciousness we observe Earth Day and GOMI ZERO. April 22nd is well known as The Earth Day and every year various events which are related to environment are held on April 22nd all over the world and In Japanese, "530 = 5:GO 3:MI 0:ZERO". "GOMI" means "Waste" in English. That is to say "GOMI Zero = Zero Waste". It's a zero wase initiative to raise awareness among the people who are living in the earth. It is observed every year in different countries all over the world on 30th May.
