This is how you amass a record 10 scoring titles at 30.1ppg and 50% as a perimeter. Clyde Drexler's timeless quote after meeting MJ in the 1992 Finals comes to mind here: "I used to think MJ had 2000 moves. I was wrong - he has 3000." I also like this quote from SLAM's Top 50 Players issue from 6/2009 on MJ: "...the masterpiece, it has all eyes in the room on it while it plays, and shows timeless resiliency afterward, increasing in beauty, value and fame long after the artist is gone. Jordan is that masterpiece." This was a tough project for me because for a long time, I didn't have a vision on how to approach it. When it finally clicked, the biggest hurdle was putting forth the time and energy to get the vision from my mind onto paper - or should I say WMV file. But I think it worked out ok here. So, thanks to all those who whipped me into shape and pushed and badgered me to get to work and finish this. In the end, I was just as excited in getting it done as anyone out there and I hope it was worth the wait. And while 95% of the footage here is from my collection, the 5% I 'borrowed' to make this work means thanks to all the other uploaders out there with tons of footage. Like most people say, I'm a huge fan of MJ, but I kept hearing about these stories of him cursing at people and being rude. With the tons of MJ mixes out there, I wanted to do something more complete. I also wanted to focus on the aesthetics of his abilities. That led me to a path of picking not only classic clips, but rare ones and personal favorites. For those who didn't grow up in the 80s before MJ became a champion, they can never know the full experience of what watching Jordan was like. Jordan's first game at Madison Square Garden was on December 9, 1981. He was a North Carolina freshman playing against the Rutgers. From that point on, he repeatedly said that he loved to play in this arena. He even called it the "Mecca of Basketball". On March 8, 1998 he played his last game in a Bulls uniform at Madison Square Garden. He wore his Air Jordans from 1984 as a tribute to the fans. In the end, it was another Jordan special. This is the single most important game of the modern basketball era. Also, it kept solidifying the fact that MJ saved his best for the best teams. MJ rarely cared to score big against poor teams unless he had to since it was a chance to get the team to play. In MJ's first 19 games vs. Detroit, he averaged 36ppg including a 61pt spanking the year before (a game I also have edited on youtube.com). After this 59pt game on national TV on Easter Sunday in front of a record crowd at Detroit, the Pistons' coach Daly had enough. He vowed never to let MJ beat them again. Born was the beginning of the most awesome defense ever - "The Jordan Rules". The basics of the defense were to 'funnel MJ to the middle so the big guys could knock him on his butt'. But, the defense was so specific that there was a rule for what to do wherever MJ had the ball. The Pistons went on to win two titles and their 'bruiserball' defense on Jordan forced the NBA to invent the flagrant foul. This video had to be made because there was so much material left after Artistry II and I didn't want to wait until Part III. These clips may have been left out perhaps due to some quality issues, one less triple pump here and there or because I used other camera angles but the main reason is basically that there simply wasn't enough room to fit everything into Part II. With an entire career that was a highlight reel, that problem is rather extremely large. So, without the constraints of actually doing a Part II (since it's already done), consider this more of a "B" side of sorts, or, for that matter, a relaxing second course after the Filet Mignon. And with that idea in mind, I had a little fun this time - with of course the theme of MJ's mastery of athleticism and finesse intact. Coming into this game, the Chicago Bulls were down 2-1 to the NY Knickerbockers. Magic Johnson stated during the 92 playoffs/finals that it's very hard to even make it to the Finals, he said it's even harder to win in the Finals, and he said it's nearly impossible to repeat a championship. Well, the Bulls were working on their 3 peat here in the 1993 NBA playoffs. The big problem is they ran into a road block that I like to call the Terminator Knicks. The Knicks were a very physical team and were talented from top to bottom. Michael Jordan really needed to step up big in game 4 but there was one problem. Michael Jordan had a badly injured wrist and a huge lump on his wrist from the injury. Many were questioning if Jordan would be able to shoot well with this injury he was dealing with. Michael Jordan was soon to put on the Superman cape, as he had many times before, and he broke the NBA record for most points scored against the Knicks in the playoffs by dropping 54 points on them. Michael Jordan got into foul trouble, and when he picked up his 5th foul he sat out part of the 4th quarter. Jordan would have broke 60 if he didn't pick up that 5th foul. Michael Jordan usually let the game come to him and took his shots in the flow of the team offense. In this game Jordan came out to prove a point. Michael Jordan and the Bulls win their fourth NBA championship with a 87-75 win over Seattle in game six of the NBA Finals. Jordan scored 22 and Pippen added 17. Luc Longley scored 12 big points. Ron Harper and Toni Kucoc added 10 each. Dennis Rodman was a major factor, as he pulled down 19 rebounds. It was probably fate the Bulls lost games four and five in Seattle. As we all know, this win came in Chicago on Father's Day. It was Jordan's first championship since the death of his father, and the emotion was evident. The Bulls' fourth title was to be the first of their second three-peat.

Jordan, however, was the one who came up with big plays down the stretch to ensure a Chicago victory. Here it is: Soaring into its ninth season, this modern retelling of the Superman legend and its classic characters continues to blend realism, action and emotional depth to reveal a new interpretation of the enduring mythology. This season, as Metropolis' clock tower tolls our characters' darkest hour, we find Clark Kent (Tom Welling) finally making his first attempts to embrace his calling as a superhero. After the events of last season, Clark takes on the mantle of protector of Metropolis, trading in his familiar red-and-blue for black-and-gray, sticking to the city's shadows and rooftops to become a solitary sentry simply known as "the Blur."
