Der Planet Axis ist eigentlich eine riesige Pflanze, in deren Kern eine außerirdische Quelle das Lebenelixir des Planeten, den (Pflanzen-) Saft, produziert. Doch Axis stirbt, weil die Herrscher des "Planeten", die Selenites, den Saft selbst zum Leben brauchen und die böse Königin ihre Macht durch ihn vergrößern will. In einem Dorf weit über den Wolken gibt es ein menschliches Dorf, dessen Bewohner die grausamen Selenites als Götter verehren und für sie den Saft aus dem Gehölz pressen und opfern. Die Teenagerin Kaena, immer neugierig und abenteuerlustig, findet eines Tages einen merkwürdigen Dolch. Ein alter Mann, den alle für verrückt halten, erzählt ihr Geschichten von jenseits der bekannten Welt. Kaena beginnt, das System und die alten Riten zu hinterfragen und wird deshalb aus dem Dorf ausgestoßen. Bald stößt sie auf seltsame Wurmwesen, die den Kern von Axis für sich beanspruchen und einen Konflikt mit den Selenites heraufbeschwören, der den Untergang von Axis bedeuten könnte...

This is Chris L. after we took in all the lines and settled in to land this Marlin. It took about two hours to get the Marlin to the boat after he ran several hundred yards out three times....we estimated after seeing it clear the water three times to be in the 450+ pound range. Great day off Ka'ena Point with the boyz.... this is part one as Chris was worn out after the first hour, mainly because of no fighting chair... this footage was taken with a Flip Video Camera
