Amy Pond/Karen Gillan makeup Tutorial
This is a makeup tutorial inspired by Amy Pond's look from DW. Step 1: I place a VITAL C hydrating Serum by Image Skin Care, on my face to keep it moist and soft. Step 2: I use Superstay Concealer 24hr by Maybelline (Porcelain Ivory) to cover up pimples or blemishes/red spots. Step 3: I use Neutragena 3 in 1 concealer for eyes. (medium 15) because I have rather dark allergic shiners and using a darker skin tone, hides the purple rather well.Also after that I use another concealer for the upper lip of my eye. Maybelline cover stick; Light to medium tint. I blend everything together until it is not visible and meshes with your skin. Step 4: Than I use Superstay Makeup 24hr micro-flex formula(Porcelain Ivory) It is rather expensive, so if you are looking for a cheaper route, you can use Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse. (Porcelain Ivory). Also Karen Gillan has rather fare skin, like me! So if you have darker skin, use the next shade lighter than your own. To give it that natural pale effect. Step 5: Next, I use BareMinerals (soft focus realize) which is a pastel pink. With fare completions it comes out rosier than it's usual pestal. I place it above my eyelid as well as my brow, to make sure the pale foundation does not drown me out. And it gives a soft natural, innocent look. Step 6: Amy does not have much makeup, and using dark colors on her eyes tears away from her classic long eyelashes. If you look closely, she is not wearing eyeliner at all, but only mascara.
